We won, YAY!
Seriously though, only Cha Du-Ri, Hooper, Juarez and Fortune deserve a mention from this bunch, the rest were pish. -

cant help but think that mccourt would have made a massive impact if he wasnt brought on with 3 mins to go

Without Mulgrew and Loovens in the starting 11, we could've avoided conceding, and actually have a shot at getting a third goal. Also, 20-something corners and FK-s close to goal, and nothing was scored.:31: With Ki, we'd have been better in that department. Along with some good passing he would provide. But no, Lennon thinks we're ok without a playmaker.

Your team and coach were a little arrogant to say "we would win 4-0", I hope that next time celtic have more humility.
Good luck in the league europe. -
Thought Ledley wasn't too bad and neither was Brown bar acting in his usual thuggish manner a couple of times.

Analysis
We need a new left back, new centre back, and a new goalkeeper.
Enough positives though in the last half-hour to give some optimism for the season
And convert Fortune into a winger and we will be alright. -

My revised team for the league this year
zaluska( or new gk)
Cha Hooiveld rogne mulgrew/misun (or new lb)
fortune juarez ledley mcourt
samaras hoopy
Ive been saying for a while now fortune plays better on the wing than upfront and he proved that tonight again.
gutted about the result, my heart said we could do it and my head told me otherwise! The league is priority this season anyhow and the europa will give these guys a bit of experience for the champions league next year:celt_2:

It's probably been a replica of pre-season.. Start games badly (although we played fantastic for the first 5 minutes) go a goal down and then claw your way back..
The defence put the * through Zaluska and he wasn't sure whether to chest the ball , step outside the 18 yard box or whatever and that was Braga playing 1 up front...
Sometimes I think it's a puzzle that needs a massive brain to solve because no matter who we put in defence they find a way...
Maloney was mostly pish.. Ledley and Juarez poor first halfs better 2nd halfs..
Mulgrew needs the SPL to come quickly as a new guy getting replaced 45 minutes into a competitive match says that he's kinda the weak link..
Murphy , welll what can you say.. He was there here and everywhere that the ball wasn't.. Had a chance at a corner but * himself and when he tried to get past that player wide left to put a cross in I swear I was transported back to 7 years ago or close when Steve Guppy played...
Too little too late to be honest.. -

aye ok mate.
Samaras can run past people and put in a half decent ball he showed that tonight but why does he constantly want to come inside then have no were to go. -

Away goal was the killer. People, lets not make any daft comments and remember our priorities eh ? -

Only seen the last half an hour.
Hooper, Cha and Juarez are the real deal. Too hard to comment on Ledley cause he was playing out of position. Brown was * and offered nothing. Loovens is a big fud. -

re braga game
As said in the last post of the game thread im not doubting that mccourt is a talented player but was merely questioning the magic feet nonsense even at half time they were going on about the skill of mccourt like i said was he not in a bid for a championship team? I just dont wanna see us move from a quality player like mcgeady and move onto someone like mccourt. hopefully a couple centre halves a keeper and creative midfielder we make from the money we make from mcgeady. Wish he would give the young dane a chance too think this boy is a 20 a season man -

Hooper did really well, 2 goals in 2 games also Juarez needs to be played more centrally and further up the pitch but he did well with his goal.
So all in all a decent performance, we beat a good team tonight, it was just our big away defeat that let us down. Happy.
