    I'm not picky.
I'll be surprised if they weren't bitter huns (apologies if any are your friends) Must admit though that I hate when people say about us being defensive when playing teams like Barcelona. How else are we supposed to play for the majority of the time when they keep the ball and pass it around as well as they do?

Barcelona were excellent at passing the ball around and keeping possession, but for the finishing and most clinical moves which resulted in scoring, we were the better team.

Still buzzing as well. Was only yesterday but at the same time seems like a week ago already :smiley-laughing002:

I am in Brussels, no huns in sight here (just people who like Barcelona and football in general, but are neutral about Celtic). :50:

For the rest I fully agree with you. :celt_2:

Brilliant from start to finish, what a night.
Special mentions to big Forster who was amazing, and Adam Matthews who was like a brick wall against Dani Alves all night, Wanyama incredible. Every single player was brilliant last night. Been to all the big games but last night was the best.

Why is the BBC reporting the attendance as 55k? CP was packed to the rafters.

Highlights for this game are all over the place here, both locally and nationally. They have one common theme the atmosphere was off the charts!!!!! No one wants to play Celtic at home period.

Im guessing but maybe an extra few seats taken up by segragation and advertising? Isnt there usually seats taken up at the front for advertising purposes? In saying that I cant remember any from last night?

You could argue however that against other teams we would see alot more of the ball and the possibly having more chances at goal, the way Lenny set it up last night is probably the best way for us to progress, people may lable us chelsea esq and anti-football but we are far from it the difference is we really tried to play football.

But I see what you mean while we won't be facing a harder team then Barca there will be certainly more defensively solid and adept teams out there

Was mentioned earlier in the thread mate. The guy who done the report - who is the same guy that done the Benfica game and reported the attendance as only 52,000 for that match - is talking pish. Was a packed house and I'll be surprised if there was any less than 60,000.

Official attendance was 58826 I'm sure. Gaps in Barca end and segregation, it was a sell-out.

97 per cent capacity due to segregation definitely seems more realistic than the 90 per cent capacity the BBC are insisting on. Look at any of the videos - 55k would mean every tenth seat standing empty, or a significant concentration of empty seats in one part of CP, and neither of these are the case.
