Iwata, Hatate and Kwon very poor for me..

Hatate scored a cracker but some of his passing was bordering on I can't be arsed here..

Iwata a few times just looked really poor and overly negative..

Nawrocki I like. Dodgy first touch and lost his man for a header but apart from that he's been really good. Quick in the tackle and to release it forward..

McGregor been good along with Maeda (who's been excellent) and Kyogo has had a bit of a thankless task but pressed well. Carter-Vickers though. The main man for me. Like he's never been away and thank * he's back..

 

Missed the first ten minutes, disappointing the rest of it. Do we even have a system? Is Hatate playing up front? What happened to our high press?

It's a friendly so can't read too much into it but some worrying performances that half considering we are days away from the season.

Most worrying thing about that half for me (and I know, pre-season) is we just looked like we had no system. No shape or pattern going forward.

So why are we playing Iwata there over Ralston when one is an actual right back and the other isn't.

 

The Kwon stuff is * boring. The majority is snide as *. His “head is gone”? Mental.

Apparently excellent at the weekend but certain folk can’t wait to jump on him. Its such weird behaviour, but nothing new.

 

I have never understood this plan of playing players out of position who clearly are not fit for the role, rather than giving some youngster a game. Its why we lose so many young players because the road into the first team is just near impossible.
