Aye and that's fitbaw for you, it's professional sport the players are not robots, not to absolve them of any form of criticism but the reaction is way OTT.

Beyond * today. Will take a league and cup and a good showing in Europe every season though. Five or six players that got on today though that we should be improving on

Aye, I agree. If you'd said at start of season a league and cup double. We would aw be happy. We didn't turn up and Aberdeen deserved their win. We go again next season.! I think people are so used to the total domination now that it seems like.a big loss. But a treble isn't an easy win. It's a long season, especially when you have international players.

I always worry when people come on here and say we will gub this team or that team 5, 6, 7 - 0. It always happens before hun games and it was clearly evident before today's final. People have to realise that we haven't been great since the games against Leipzig and Bayern and we lost to the bottom club here in Scotland a few weeks back. I thought we would win today but was genuinely worried about a cup upset

It's always going to be after a big defeat like today, and it's been brewing for a while with our poor performances, a win today would have masked what has been a really poor set of performances in 2025.

I'm definitely not in the "Sack him" camp, but he does need to wise up for next season, I'd be shocked if the huns are as bad next year, and if we continue to play as we have done, it's going to be a long season.

We were poor the day. Aberdeen played there gameplan to perfection and we struggled against it. Kinda sums up our second half of the season. Onto the next season. Hope this is a boot up the *.

I think we all aged about 30 years today, not good when you are 63!

Dave Cormack says Aberdeen “threw a spanner in the works today”.

    * sit doon, ye shoved 10 men behind the ball all game and hoped we would have a brain fart

That's a fair outlook on things. Competitive sport by nature means that we are not entitled to anything based on who we are. Our team fought and lost. I'll use Scales and Taylor as an example, we all know their strengths and weaknesses and over 120 minutes they put in beyond any kind of effort each and every one of us have committed for the whole year combined yet they are regarded as rejects and need replacing. We are very quick to criticise our players without considering that they are human and over the course of the game they made few errors and did what they do well, very well I thought.

How many times have we said this team needs a boot up the * though. It's blatantly obvious that our squad isn't strong enough and there are players who should be punted asap and replaced by players who can do a job for us. We need some strength and physicality in our mid-field (which has been the case for years now) and the manager need to realise that teams have us sussed now and set up accordingly and he will need to adapt or we will have even more days like today.

Aye you have to factor in the human aspect, we hit the woodwork a number of times, history has shown anything can happen in a cup final, a one off game over 90-120 mins.

Supporters look at things through an emotional and at times unrealistic lens, it's understandable but kinda reminds me why for years i avoided fitbaw forums. :56:

Khun, Engles, Yang, Bernado, Idah, McCowan and KS were absolutely rotten today. If any of these guys want to move on then let them go. Fecking passengers with absolutely no heart or fight. I wasn't one of those people who came on here saying we'd batter the sheep rotten but I did think we would have won but, to loose it like that, was sickening. Raging, aye, too right I am.

Maybe a bit of a raw reaction but honestly, besides McGregor, CCV and Maeda I couldnt really care if anyone else in our team left in the summer.

Take those 3 out our team and we are a really poor outfit

Definitely has been he was off his game for a while but last 2 months hes been right on it, scoring assisting , when he plays to his capabilities which he has been recently he is by far our best player , needs to do it more often thou, cause when hes poor he’s dire
