I can handle losing but that was a * performance. Calmac was basically in midfield himself . Bernardo and engels were beyond * . Forrest made a difference then went off injured !

 

He put Idah through one on one against them last time. If others can't finish, that's not on him.

Anyway, he will probably be gone, but we need a similar type of player as we ran out of ideas.

This team needs a total overhaul, we'll get destroyed in cl qualifiers with some of that dross.

Last season in Europe was good but history shows it was a one-off

While I agree with most of what you have to say, I have to disagree re the Board in this instance. They backed BR to the biggest spending spree in the club's history (and not even close, even accounting for inflation). The Board greenlit the signings and the outlay. BR being pretty dreadful in the transfer market. This coming summer we already know that there will be some significant turnover and whatever else is happening elsewhere, there will be some big money spent again... whether Rodgers and his scouting team can identify the right players is an entirely different matter.

 

Aberdeen plan worked .have to say well done to them. Beaten 5-1 only couple weeks ago off our b team ..hopefully the likes of scales taylor and other deadwood get shifted on in the summer. We done it before getting * like Turnbull and m Johnston out ..worrying thing is can we actually get the recruitment right in players coming in .Again any team having a go at us they seem to get through us no problem .

 

Strange one to take I think. We absolutely didn't deserve it and I honestly didn't think Aberdeen did either, just the least * on the day.

People can talk about their league form and how we mauled them less than a fortnight ago, that * doesn't matter in a cup never mind a final

That's not an excuse though. We had way more than enough on the pitch to win that game. Aberdeen have been honking as well.

* not good enough too many average players Bernardo Scales Yang McCowan. Please nobody ever say to me Bernardo is better than Hatate again - he’s clearly not a Celtic level player.

No its not on him..and i then blame that player at that moment for doing that....Maeda as been * immense this season...Carried the team many times...He deserves a few off moments.

Players like Idah and Engels and just absolute dog * and constantly * up easy passes or easy opportunities in front of goals....

Hatate this season in particular has been absolute terrible....He only looks slight less brutal with the * around him.

He played well Vs the Sheep and scored as i said...and maybe around another 5 games this season he has been ok....Overall.....Bad.

There was a reason why everyone was wanting him dropped many games this season....and another reason why most of us lit up when we heard an Italian side was in for him

 

In the long run this is maybe a decent result as it shows we need strengthening, puts the case forward even more to get in the transfer market and get players in pronto.

I suspect had we won that the "this is to easy" mentality would of crept into next season
