FOR CONTEXT, RANGERS PROVIDED THESE TICKETS TO CELTIC TO SELL TO OUR OWN FANS WITHOUT RESTRICTION. IN THIS SCENARIO WE WERE PERFECTLY ENTITLED TO BUY TICKETS AND ATTEND THE GAME. INTEREST IN THIS MATCH WAS MORE LIKELY WITH AWAY FANS PROHIBITED FROM ATTENDING THE FIRST TEAM GAME - AN ACTION INSTIGATED BY RANGERS UNDER THE PRESSURE OF WHAT APPEARS TO BE NON-MATCH GOING FANS.

IN THEIR LAUGHABLE COMMENTS TO THE MEDIA, RANGERS TRY TO JUSTIFY THEIR COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT OF ALL CELTIC FANS BY PAINTING A DRAMATIC PICTURE OF THE "RISK" INVOLVED. WE POINT TO THE HYPOCRISY OF RANGERS, AND INDEED ALL CLUBS IN SCOTLAND, OF SUPPORTING ACTIVE FANS WHEN IT IS OF USE TO THEM, AND DEMONISING THEM WHEN IT SUITS. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN RELIABLY INFORMED THAT THIS DRAMATIC U-TURN FROM RANGERS WAS IN FACT DOWN TO THEIR REFUSAL TO PAY FOR APPROPRIATE POLICING WHICH THEY HAD NOT BUDGETED FOR.

THE PROBLEMS EXPOSED HERE AGAIN HIGHLIGHT THE CIRCUS WITH DERBY TICKETS.

THEY ALSO BRING TO LIGHT ISSUES THAT RUN DEEP IN SCOTTISH FOOTBALL'S RELATIONSHIP WITH FANS: NAMELY AN UN UNWARRANTED LEVEL OF MISTRUST AND

Somebody get a hold of how toxic the stadium is.

Really wish they'd focus more on getting behind the team and less on politics during the game.

 

There’s plenty of room for both provided they aren’t being complete idiots about it, like they were on the day of the Hamas attacks.

The negative * that plague our support are a bigger problem. I understand that we’re not playing well, but usually from minute 1 they’re on the players backs. Creates a toxic atmosphere and hurts us more than it helps. It’s largely the same in periods of success too.

 

Why is Israel even allowed to still play when Russia is banned?

 

Surely to * the young fan in the video takes it to a lawyer as there's supposed to be rules re making an arrest. Our club should also be made aware of how its fans are being treated by those * but, then again, they probably don't give a flying *
