    It's certainly a great exercise in proving how the media shapes the general public's opinions with sensationalist headlines, buzz words and churned out "journalism" that any monkey could be taught.

    The Green Brigade's responses have been superb so far, this one in particular is a brilliantly written statement which clearly outlines their views but does not make any attacking accusations or insults that would weaken its impact. Would be the easy way out to go on the offensive after that horrendous Evening Times back page yesterday and then it would be written off as an angry retort but this is a very considered response.

    take that line for example

    In what way are the good old bobbies trying to take the heat out of the powderkeg by asking the GB not to sing IRA songs??? Surely the way to take the heat out of it would be to take a more relaxed approach to policing football games?

    That article is designed to make the cops look like the good guys and the GB look like the bad guys.....:38:

    I don't agree with Lenny's statement, but at no time did he accuse the Celtic support or the GB of sectarian singing.

    He maybe should have been smart enough to realise that's where it would end up in twisted words on the back page but that's another matter entirely.
