Jorge will be back. I think it is his turn in the barrel. ( he's gone on Naval reserve duty or something.)

I remember reading a Rangers Media thread about this guy on Youtube who was a Loyalist Celtic fan? :97: That's probably worse than being a * tim.

What Lenin has to do with me I'll never know but you just keep going with the line if you feel like it.

But it's disgusting that a guy who admires people that took part in the Holocaust is being tolerated on here :54:

Trying to drag the thread back on track, I actually don't think that is too far flung. I cannot imagine any Celtic fans being the kind of loud and proud, knuckle dragger, drum beating moron that marches up and down streets and noises everyone up. But there is surely a quiet portion of Northern Irish fans who recognise the economic benefits of being part of the UK, and wouldn't want to join a economically frail Ireland? In the same way there are some Celtic fans (I know several) who are Scottish and are perfectly happen being part of the Union.

It all comes back to the initial post of the thread. When a collective is so big and varied, you will get a wide range of cultures and politics in that group. I guess the rest of this thread is case in point really.

I think there is a difference between being a Unionist Celtic fan ( which I think is what you are describing Sween) and a Loyalist Celtic fan. The same as some people would traditonally describe themselves as Irish Nationalists as opposed to Irish Republicans and the distinction was usually based around their views on the Armed struggle.

I don't think there can be very many Loyalist Celtic fans although I know it has been discussed on here before there was one UVF guy that was a Celtic fan.

I live 30 mins from the border and if anything its the other way round, especially among the poor.

I remember a case recently that there were est over two thousand people signing on in one Monaghan town alone, who were discovered to have come from the north. Most of this has been cracked down on in recent years, but unemployment benefit in the south is still double that of the north.

I know an awful lot of Catholic Unionists from the North. They might be traditional nationalists but they completely understand the benefits of being part of the Union.

A lot of them feel like turncoats.

    Three things you should remember:

    1. If you can't reply to someone's post without telling them to * off or saying '* you', either don't post or calm yourself down until you can post without being abusive.

    2. If you are so offended by something somebody posts that you feel the urge to post as above then use the report button and staff will review the post and take action if necessary.

    3. Cut out the back seat moderating. Staff will determine who does and does not get banned from the forum. Your input is not required.

Laughing aside, there is a quiet portion of Free-Staters who would agree with that.

    * the West-Brits, they dont understand what it means to be a Irish Nationalist.

I would put each of the groups as bad as each other, the West-Brits want to get rid of all Irish culture, from the language to our national game.

There are plenty mate, the best way of weeding them out is to ask them about the GAA, they hate the game and all it stands for.
