Hope this galvanises us as a fan base and we call them out on this pish poor excuse of a statement.

Forget who it was but someone compared our transfer activity to brugge recently. Sure the example they gave was that brugge sold someone for £30m+ and within days replaced them with a £20m signing. We aren't even asking for that at this stage, we just want players replaced! It isn't a big ask in any kind of way

The irony is that the past two summer windows they've been forced to overpay at a late stage due to their refusal to do business earlier.. Engels, Idah, Sebastian, Trusty etc were all examples of throwing money at transfers.

The requested fee for Breum was literally lower than what we paid for Tounekti !

 

It’s bullshit. See the tweet I posted. Our expenditure is nowhere close to causing issues with UEFA.

Just remove the financial aspect from it for a second, outside of high fees, our strategy is miles off.

I know he's not been great for them so far, but the huns got Antman for £3 million, and I think most of us would have taken him and been happy about it. They got Gassama for £1.5 million and he had a solid season in England last year. Miovski, who I do think is very overrated, would still improve our front line and he was available for £3 million. Again, all of these are low fees.

Aberdeen signing a LW who was excellent in the eredivisie 2 years ago and would walk into our team, that boy was clearly available for a good fee.

Hearts signed a Brazilian midfielder who I would have been happy with, Hibs signed Mulligan who I think would be pushing to start for us currently.

Our two first choice RW's, Yang and Forrest, wouldn't start for the huns, Aberdeen, Hibs or Hearts

It doesn't need to be large fees, what we're asking for is some stability and accountability. I dont expect Desmond to leave anytime soon, but time is up for Mckay, Nicholson and Lawwell.

I said the other day that I had no interest in hearing empty words from these *. I’m glad they have put the statement out however, as it just enraged the fans even more. There’s nobody buying into this pile of * they’ve come out with.

 

Fairly patronising statement, when the authors flushed 40mill down the toilet because they refused to address right wing for a nominal fee..

Basically told they've acted impeccably, could not act in other way, and we're all idiots falling for 'misinformation'. Answered zero of the questions put to them. No accountability, a slap in the face of a statement.

What are the cash reserves for? Why do we need £100m in reserve? What sort of volatility would ever require this kind of cash reserve and why did we not need it before now?

It's * lies. They are totally ambivalent as to the fate of this club, have zero ambition on or off the pitch, and are incompetent, lazy and insanely conservative to the point of them losing the club money through inaction.
