Really happy to see as a fan base we are just not accepting this poor narrative laid out by this incompetent board.

Need to keep this pressure up. Every angle we have to increase the pressure we got to take it.

Ironically, we can sample to the board how to get things done

Absolutely right, we are a very attractive club to many, even if just as a stepping stone.
Bit less attractive now without UCL and having a disenfranchised manager - both very much our own fault.

One big issue seems to be that the 'clubs market valuation' is just plain wrong and usually around half of the selling clubs valuation.
Then on top of that the pace we operate at is absolutely *.

    So who determines 'market value'?
I have to assume its Tisdale (but the Lawell spreadsheet divides all values by 2)
Most likely he's been hired/advised/told to keep the numbers low.

I think what the board have also lost sight of (outwith good football club operation) .....

    Rebellion is who we are.

    Its in our DNA.

    Its coming.

It does seem like Dolberg was never really interested in us at all which is quite confusing. You’d think we’d have got in touch with his representatives/agent prior to making any enquiries or bids. Seems very amateurish. Same with Fofana - did we check if he was interested before submitting a loan offer to Chelsea? Would’ve saved the embarrassment if we checked.

I also don’t buy that we stopped our pursuit of Breum due to him being overvalued by GAE. More likely their lowballing was being called out by that GAE director publicly which hurt their fat egos.

Paul Tisdale is not at all involved beyond scouting. Its even says so on that minutes. His role is Player Identification and Development. So he is just a glorified scout. We need a proper DOF/Sporting Director who actually does have the power to negotiate and sign off deals. Leaving our business to a * accountant and his PA is * *. Especially one who seems to be afraid of human interaction.

They're still *. They're just loving the scandal/gossip and the discontent there is. If there's anything avenue to put the boot in, they'll take it. A leopard never changes their spots.

I quite like Michael Gannon and Daniel Caw who do the celtic side of things.

Jackson is Jackson. Huns call him a celtic fan and we call him a Hun

I'm sure someone on 'X' done a list of players that moved this summer from teams outwith the big clubs of their respective leagues and moved to somewhere outside of the Big 5 leagues and we would have genuinely taken every single one of them here.

Will see if I can find it.

Something I've noticed and I just want to check if I'm being paranoid or our board are really that * fearful of scrutiny and transparency.

I'd normally review our full financial statements. They used be up on our website and if you googled Celtic annual reports or financial statements, one of the first few links would be a page on the official club wesbite with links to PDF versions of each of our annual reports by year, the full documents with all notes to the accounts, chairman reports etc.

I can no longer access this page via a google search, it no longer appears in the results. Can anyone who has used search engines to access these on a frequent basis also confirm this is the case? Has the club really gone to the effort to remove avenues of people reviewing their financial statements? Have the club actually deliberately taken an action to make more difficult and less accessible for fans to find their published accounts at a time when they are under severe scrutiny?

All I can access now is a link to the abridged document and you'd have to do it year by year and there is a lot of information omitted from the abridged accounts such as the notes to the accounts, directors pay etc etc

It would extremely telling that at a time they are under scrutiny that they don't want people reviewing their audited accounts.

Controversial but i like Jackson as well. I think he is very fair when he speak, especially on our board. He absolutely slams them

Whilst I won't pretend if a neutral player had a choice of us or Feyenoord that every single time they'd pick us, more chance they would pick Feyenoord.
However, in the same line as above, how is it Feyenoord managed to spend over £30m signing a RW, AM, ST and a CB (plus couple others), all positions we desperately wanted filled as well, before they even kicked a ball in the UCL qualifiers? Qualifiers they had to play an EXTRA round over us - which they got knocked out of by fenerbahce and subsequently have fallen in to the Europa league. Did none of their big money signings want to wait and see if Feyenoord made it to the UCL? Did they not want to see if UCL clubs like Ajax (automatic qualification), benfica, Bodø, brugge, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Marseille, olympiacos, PSV, Sporting or Villareal wanted to sign them once UCL was confirmed?

My point - other clubs managed to go out there and sign players early enough, not in the big 5 and without UCL guaranteed! Of course they stumbled, that happens, but they weren't scared to do it and now likely better prepared for the Europa than we are and will have belief they can go fairly deep if not all the way in the competition.

Meanwhile we are debating if we should even bother attending that shindig.

I'd write one up for them for free.

"Following negative feedback from our recent statement we would just like to clarify that we don't really give a * if you liked it or not. It's our opinion, and that's the only one that matters.

Go * yourself with a pineapple,
    Michael Nicholson"

Last I looked (awhile ago now), it was on a Google search I found the link to every last year directly on the club site. Each year was it's own hyperlink.
But not checked lately to know.

Not sure if this is gonna be what you wanted to know either, but I abused chatgpt the other day as well in regards that sort of information (accounts) to project what the June 2025 financials would be (due out soon I imagine?) and the projection based on the previous few years is us sitting at 77-95m at bank, with our biggest turnover/revenue yet.

I'd take it as a step in the right direction if the * signed it off with a name the next time.

Would be easier to find players willing to join if we started trying to sign them at the start of the window rather than leaving it until the last few days. Which left us with no fall back options.

They better believe it. I bet none of the * will be at ANY home games for the forseeable future. But we have to find a way to keep money from them without harming the team. HH
