If we were to make things that uncomfortable though to an extreme degree surely he would need to consider his position. Especially as he ain't getting any younger.

We don't know until we try.

That or hope that all this noise attracts potential investors to dangle a carrot in front of him as money is the only language he will understand

  3. Be a good topic for journalist students this board and the PR car crash.

  4. This is it. Until we actually give it a proper go, we will never know. The time has arrived though, definitely. Can’t remember ever seeing this level of anger amongst the support, all on the same hymn sheet.

So glad to see this vote of no confidence being pushed by multiple outlets now. Not expecting the board to do much off the back off it but if it opens up more dialogue and brings about some change then its better than nothing. The * need rooted out though.

Looks like a fair bit of unity and momentum.

Genuine question if we can force them into to some sort of action what would folk be content with? (Maybe needs its own thread)

We can't force Desmond to do anything he doesn't want to do really, so what can we actually achieve?

Probably the easy answer again but we don't really know until we try.

Right now all we are doing is nodding along with everything and it's getting us nowhere.

At the very least there needs to be a meeting with reps from all of those signatories or at least the largest groups, to get some views across to those in charge. At the moment there's absolutely no line of communication and until that changes, this back and forth will go on forever.

I'm viewing this very much as a step at a time. War of attrition :BR1:

  8. There's talk and there's action. Every single year the same board are voted in by landslide majorities. There is zero dissent among the shareholders, if there was it would be apparent. Trainer is every bit as guilty as Desmond and the rest. At best they are passive shareholders, at worst they are all on the same page.

Rodgers has not helped and is not without blame in all of this. Has pretty much been doing the bare minimum since the turn of the year really. While he shoulders significant responsibility, for someone being paid a * of a lot of money it's not exactly excusable either, however even in this, the policies enacted from the Club Executive level and thus, fons et origo.

  10. See if I could pick the lotto numbers like I can predict what happens with celtic...

  11. Incredible that we're in this mess...the massive financial advantage we have you'd think they'd be desperate to take us to the next level and have us in the champions League year after year like Bruges...It just puzzling that they aren't thinking like this

Maybe they haven't had enough cause to vote against them before now..

Trainer will do what's ever best to protect his investment. So, its difficult to gauge the feeling after this summer of chaos.. and subsequent incredible, I mean incredible reaction to our fury.

Tbh, its probably more in hope that he or others would rock the boat, or that we're being lined up for some sort of takeover. As, most of us can't really see a way of forcing them to make the changes required.

Definitely. We need to be relentless with this and not let the pressure die down.

  18. As a shareholder of his standing, maybe he's thinking, in terms of his investment, if we can get some change, oust the dinosaur cabal and move the club forward, invest property, qualify more regularly for the champions league, trade well, his investment return will only increase!

Going by the boards theory does that mean all the money l saved up for my retirement means l can't spend it as it will take me over what l get monthly as a pension

It would be good if something could be arranged where individual fans not affiliated with any group could voice their support and come together to show their support for a ‘no confidence’ position in the board… the impact of all the groups but alongside 50k/100k ++++ signing a formal statement would have even greater impact
