They are largely anonymous........I wouldn't know any of them if I bumped into them on the street!

What about the times the GB have been refused meetings

Once being told after they turned up the meeting was cancelled

The Club takes Celtic supporters’ views extremely seriously, and the Club understands the concerns and frustrations which have arisen. We are listening to the views expressed by our supporters, welcome dialogue and we are always willing to learn lessons. The Club is committed to engagement with supporters, and we will work hard to address the concerns and frustrations that have been raised.

I've always believed that it's self sabotage. Money interests come first over all and you will never change the importance of the OF mindset. It's set up so that it's only going to be us or them who win the league. You just have to remember how desperate they were to parachute a liquidated club back into the league. They even went so far as to give them the place of a small club who were supposed to get promoted. No one ever talks about that.

Have we heard anything from the Ultra Group regarding this, do we know?

Because let's face it, if they are in the stadium making noise nobody will notice a few more empty seats.

I'd be astonished if the GB buy and attend the europa games tbh.

Normally I wouldn't have been for a mass boycott but genuinely at this stage its needed.

I think if it could be organised, having a near empty stadium being beamed out across the world would embarrass them just as much as any in game chant or tifo. Whilst also hurting the thing they love most, their pockets.

Is it realistic? Probably not is the unfortunate thing. It is personal choice orcourse. But for me personally I couldn't bring myself to hand them another 200 quid or whatever after reading that * last night, combined with everything else. Last night has made things so much more volatile and shows the urgent need foe change.

Just woke up to see this. Just like the transfer window itself, I was expecting it to be bad, but they've managed to somehow fail to reach those low standards. Sack the board.

Not as far as I’m aware. Given it was the GB heading up the open letter though, and with the “response” we got last night, I’d be amazed if they bought them. If they do, more fool them I guess, and it would scream empty words from them also.

If the GB, NCC and Bhoys came together to essentially refuse the tickets, the stadium will be dead and they know it will be. They might get 45,000 there but it will be filled with people who turn up once in a blue moon to basically take in the atmosphere. If you take away the Ultras, what actual atmosphere have you got.

Add in to the fact that the GB and Bhoys have over 110,000 followers between them on Instagram, not sure about the other platforms as I only have Insta, but if they put our a huge statement saying they were boycotting the Europa League package for reasons we’ve all mentioned here, it will mobilise a lot of fans. Me and my mum are not taking the package for it so that’s 3. Yes, they’ll get more in the door but it’s the coverage it brings, the negativity to the club. And it will hit the atmosphere, it will hit the coffers and it will cloud the club in scrutiny from the media.

Fan Media need to do the same for me. The Ultras and the Fan Media need to put out a response and it needs to have action on it. There needs to be a display on every single one of the fan media on their streams/podcasts.

That statement only adds further evidence how incompetent they really are.

A lot of words for nothing.

    Reeks of Chat GBT.

    Absolutely bullshit the whole lot.

To summarise it says ‘it’s not our fault, now shut up and give us your money’.

We’ve got to keep pushing until there is actual change to move this club forward.

Just another indicator of how out of touch the board are and how they couldn’t care less about the concerns of supporters.

    The statement reeks of arrogance.

Also, all this talk of ‘self sustaining model’, well if that model includes selling a £9m striker on the final day and selling your first choice striker 8 months earlier and not replacing either of them, that sounds like a fantastic model to me, keep it up Celtic.

    Abject negligence.

I know it’s a response. That’s fine but I’m talking about a collective statement from everyone where action is taken, like Europa League package refusal.

It is coming home to roost now that their own self important mindset of maintaining their precious "Old Firm" is finally coming back to bite them hard on the *, our supporters do not want to be associated or involved with anything that involves the Boards "friends across the city" We have been trying to establish that fact ever since the Newco formed in 2012 that We want absolutely nothing to do with that shitshow over at Ibrox, the Board are the only ones who want a strong "Rangers" and the "Old Firm" whereas our supporters couldn't give two * about "Rangers" and would rather that they were put out of existence forever.

Huns did Friday night ones for a spell. Always hiding bad news. This who they are. They barely got a pass for covid season. They just got lucky landing Ange to cover for their * show.

Now the chickens have come home to roost...they've shown their true colours. Time to give them *. They should not be welcome at CP on match days any longer.

Need more visuals to show the unity of the fans. Red cards held up for the board. Love the black and green scarf idea. Not attending games for the first 10mins. Tennis balls on the park etc.

I think the Europa games will have empty seats. I’m almost sure of it.

Get a list of things UEFA can fine the club for and do them repeatedly.. Flares, banners and "offensive flags". Hit them in the pocket...:67:

    * UEFA would be a good start

Why do they think a Saturday night one would quieten the responses though. I have my notifications on my phone :giggle1:

Even if I didn't, I'd see it when I woke up Sunday.

Cba reading all that just read all the responses. Not surprised in the slightest tho that it seems like they've doubled down and just made things worse and fans more annoyed.

I said it earlier in the thread..

Its probably easier said than done, but whats needed is a Groups/Committee made up of the CSCs, Celtic Trust, Ultras, Season Ticket Holders and fan media.

A new Celtic Supporters for Change type group, where agreed action can take place. Like I say, its probably very difficult to sort and agree. But that's whats needed.
