I think making it difficult for them to leave the stadium would be the best approach.

The only thing that surprised me about that utter horsehit they are peddling is it took them the best part of a week to put it out. I was expecting it the day after the window closed. Predictable, patronising and pathetic. *.

If they’re using money in the bank to essentially balance out the lack of incoming cash from ticket sales from the Europa, the share price will drop. If the share price drops, the rest of the board/shareholders are then going to start questioning the club strategy. Desmond controls the club because the rest of the shareholders allow him to. They need the share price to be higher more than he does. He’s a multi billionaire. The others are mostly investment companies. Trainer isn’t mad wealthy like Desmond so his shares in Celtic will be worth a pretty penny to him. At 11%, you’d imagine they’re worth around £20m. So, he’s going to want to keep on top of that investment and seeing the share price fall because fans are boycotting ticket sales, merchandise sales, food and drink in the stadium, walking out of the game. Protesting against the club. All that sort of negativity impacts the share price.

I do understand it, but like I said to Slaw, there's more effective ways.. the fanbase is united just now in getting rid a boycott may cause friction in that unity..

Its verry difficult but there has to be some sort of agreed plan of action. That includes representatives from all the different organisations etc in our support..

A modern Celtic Fans For Change, group.. who can agree on a strategy to implement the most damage to get rid of them.

The arrogance of this statement is tragic. So far up their own arses they don't realise how severely this statement just screams "we are * clueless". If a single person running the club had any semblance of sense, they'd have looked at that statement and said you'd be crazy to publish such drivel

To affect change, we need someone like Trainer to want change.

Honestly, this is the worst possible thing they could have released.

Its a * embarrassment. Talking in complete circles.

"The club will listen to fans, but the fans views are due to misinformation from Twitter"

    * right off.

Active protests first. Build that momentum.
Once that's actively going on and no doubt gaining no traction with the board, it should become easier to convince action of boycott

We need to hope he has a kinda * you to the board attitude and he is thick skinned enough to still get success this season..

Its definitely a head * for us though, as in reality another successful domestic campaign, these * would see as vindication to carry on.. its a Catch 22

Its extremely worrying that they don't recognise there's something wrong with the way we do business in the transfer market.

To blame the difficulties with modern global transfer market and media is absurd. Not changing our ethos for 20yrs and adapting robustly to the way footballing business is done now is the problem, you complete imbeciles.

This is the start, it will likely get much worse unless we're able to affect change relatively quickly.

I will also add that the below statement indicates identifying a player is pre-manager.

I dont believe that to be the case with iheanacho, in fact if anyone does then I’m baffled. That’s a * WhatsApp message from Rodgers.

Similarly it blows out the water a lot of blame for the likes of trusty and Engels and puts it square at the scouting department.

So, in short, lack of bang for buck - on them. So clearly we need better

“The recruitment process includes the identification of players, and the conclusion of the transfer. Ultimately, once a player has been identified, confirmed by the football manager and it is then supported by the Board in line with the Club’s financial model, the Club will pursue that target to seek to conclude the transfer within our agreed parameters.”
