it can if they get 10 points deducted.

12 games left, we visit them on our 5th match from now. 7 games after it, so there's 21 points up for grabs afterwards. meaning we'd need to gain 5-7 points over them before we go to Mordor.

    ha! done the maths!

All this talk about points deducted and so on ,we have to keep our eye on the ball and never be lulled into thinking its over or they ate finished ,the fat lady still has to sing.

I don't want to give the younger lads a chance simply because we've got breathing space. Play our strongest team every match regardless. I want as big a point difference as possible at the end of the season!

As I said earlier, if they get deducted ten points, it's finished. Seriously this time. 14 points clear with only a handful of games to go.

Just joined but couldn't resist joining in. Am I right in thinking if they remain in administration for the next two months or so then they can't compete in Europe next season?

I can't help but suspect that this is what Whyte had in the back of his mind all along - screw hector, asset strip and walk away with a profit...

i want to win the league as quickly as possible and then bleed in our youngsters for next season and play fringe players to showcase them for a move. resting key players would be great for cup games.

Yip that's right if they are in administration they will not have a license to play in Europe.

    Aye.

UEFA's rules are that you have to have 3 sets of audited accounts in a row published to get a license. If they are in Admiin when the 31st of March deadline passes they wont get a License and will not be able to play in Europe until 2016/17 at the earliest. If they do not provide audited accounts by then either same result applies.

But I think the huns themsleves arent bothered, they are just desperate at the moment for the Huns to survive as the Club they are but it looks unlikely and that a new Club with no history will have to be started to masquerade as Rangers and they wont be able to qualify for Europe until then either so they dont really care about that I dont think as they are odds on probably to be liquidated unless they win the taxcase then they can scrape by but will be reduced to a * skint team.

even if they do drop points we have to beat them by more than 10 points.

If this all pans out the league is in the bag. I hope that we don't take our foot off the pedal just the same.......we need to win this convincingly and not getting beat for the rest of the season would do it.

Posted this in the Rangers thread but thought I'd copy it here:

Just put a wee though into your head bhoys and ghirls!

We're currently 4 points ahead of them (soon to be 14). We have 4 more games until the next OF game at Ibrokes. We win our next 4 league games which puts us on to 77 points. Rangers' next 4 games are Killie (home), ICT (away), Hearts (home), Dundee Utd (away). Let's say they take 7 points from those 4 leaving them on 58 points (19 behind us).

We then beat them AT IBROX to go 22 points clear with 7 games left and therefore win the title. Can you imagine the party that day?

Just thought I'd put my dream out there!

Anyway, jelly and ice-cream will have to do for now!
