I think if he'd have stayed another few seasons and consistently performed well then he would be considered a legend

Was the right time to say bye bye's to Naka though. His fourth season wasn't as good as the rest.

Aiden McGeady still has the potential to become a star, therefore time will tell if he could have became a legend for us. Trying to think of unexpected ones, there's loads of obvious ones.

still the best free kick taker in the world in my opinion.

Ive yet to see anyone better. Ronaldo, juninho wouldnt even beat him.

Everytime there was a free kick outside the box .. you just knew he would always score from a Free kick.

Top player , sad that he left.

I think Dion Dublin deserves a mention. Must certainly be there or there about I think.

I loved naka but after he injured his strong foot, his delivery was never the same level. I really think that that niggling foot injury never healed properly and accounts for his failed stint in Spain where he looked a shadow of his old self.

Showing my age, but the player that really stands out for me is George Connelly, probably the most talented and skillful defender / midfielder I have ever seen.

Before he broke into Celtic's first team he played " Keepy -up " at halftime going round the perimeter of the CP pitch, over 6000 kicks or headers. Scored the goal at Leeds when Celtic went on to the European Cup Final in 1970.

He was certainly very cool and classy on the ball, he would have been a legand had he not decided to walk away from football all together.

i know its not really what you meant, but if larsson went onto a better team earlier on then he couldve gone down as a true footballing legend. couldve won so much more if he left celtic earlier imo, but thankfully he stayed.

One player springs to mind who would have been a legend if we would have re-signed him instead he turned into a Judas * with 1million pieces of silver
    MO "*" JOHNSTON.
Also another celtic legend if he stayed longer Paul le Geun

a lot of laughable ones there, legendary status is a hard one to pin point, my opinion is if they are not a legend just now they never would be come one.

a fan fav doesnt make you one either
