i think its about time the south stand was redeveloped and the capacity increased, celtic park is a cracking venue but that south stand is a complete eyesore, i can only imagine what the place would look like if it where the same hight all round.

    Totally agree, mate.

Would be 1 of the best Arena's in the world.

    YNWA sung by 80,000, brill.

The Main Stand does need developing, the 2 pillars at either side are an eyesore, the way it looks compared to the other stands is horrible.

Could you give an estimation of time it would take, mate?

If Celtic were to do it, they would probably get back there £20 mill in 2 seasons. (If CL football)

would be class to have it the same all the way round, and get a new modern entrance, maybe glass. only prob is id loose my seat for the whole build :38: as long as i got relocated id be all for it though.
i would also say that there are other priorities just now though and any plans will not be anywhere near top priority.

Remember income would be reduced during the period aswell so the timing would be crucial (i.e. Start and Finish).

With the south's height going up, noise would retain better with a smaller attendances

The smart idea would to start work straight after the last game of the season. Get the majority of work done during the summer so it is ready a few months into the new season.

I like the idea of having a big glass front like Man u Baileybhoy! They would need to give the area around CP a serious facelift though mate. It looks like Beirut at times walking up to the ground from the Forge!
And i dont think the 80,000 would be designed for a long future in the SPL???

Not completely sure, but I'd imagine that they'd make something in the way of a fee.

    Parkhead does need a facelift.

I think for £20 million it would be worthwhile expanding it.

Remember we aren't spending 20m, we are investing it.
The extra income it generates will mean that money is recouped in a few years, after that it can be invested in the team
