Why you bought the ticket? :97: did you walk into the Ticket office, get pinned down, pockets emptied, then * kicked out the door with the tickets

The whole episode has shown that Celtic need to pay a lot more attention to their customer fan base. The handling of the whole situation could and should have been handled far better. The refund issue has caused a lot of anger amongst fans with some paying more than others for exactly the same product. That can't be right!

End of the day if Celtic don't treat the fans with respect they can hardly expect that respect to be reciprocated. Loyalty to the club can only be stretched so far and if an increase in ST's is what Celtic want then they are going to have to deliver in terms of trophies and value for money. Not just this season but every season.

Eventually chances are the scum will return to the top flight but until then that is no excuse for treating loyal supporters with any degree of contempt.

He bought it coz he loves the club.

Why do people pay ransom when family members get kidnapped?

Doesn't mean they have to be happy about it:50:

    A bit over dramatic I know.

His kid is still getting to see Celtic matches for £6.38 per match though. Couldny even get a wean into the pictures for that nowadays.

That is true but I go back to the point earlier that kid could be sat next to another who has paid far less for exactly the same product. Where is the fairness in that?

Doing away with the lift oor has got a lot to answer for :icon_mrgreen:

Agreed, the price is good, but other peoples kids are getting into the games for less that half that price, so it being good value isn't the issue, it's not fair.

Not sure about the 3rd kit James but most vouchers will have an expiry date so best check it doesn't run out before any new kit comes out.

I see the point, but say theres a wee 12 year old and a big 12 year old. One could get the tops etc cheaper than the other who might need an * size, thats not fair either. There could also be a 4 year old and a 12 year old paying the same price, even though the 4 year old is basically oblivious to whats happening and the 12 year old is obviously a lot smarter and knows whats happening yet cost the same.

Not everything in life is fair, the ones who paid the extra should feel lucky they have the money as the ones who never paid the extra maybe couldnt afford it.

I would have paid the same as last season but putting it up IMO is unjustified. I don't buy the line its needed to maintain the clubs position! What position is that? We have much more resources than any other Scottish team therefore our position isn't under threat.
I'll back you up there, the service at the ticket office is * shocking at times. It's on the level of going to the job centre if your unemployed, they treat you like a piece of * on their shoe.

Then there is the match day steward who has also been shocking when asked a simple question, although not a Celtic employee.

Your logic is flawed! The fact that a company is charging the same customers a different price is bad management. This has been a major mistake by the club and instead of holding their hands up they write a horrible letter giving two fingers to fans that complained. This arrogant and snidey line is consistent with the customer service received in correspondence with the ticket office leading me to believe this is how they are trained.

Why did anyone buy a kids season ticket with Rangers games included in the summer when it was pretty clear there was a very good chance they wouldnt be in the spl ???

As for season tickets going up , they cant stay the same price for ever. The club is a business, anyone who thinks we should be treated special needs their heads looked at. We need money to run the club and we are the paying customers.

It wasnt pretty clear ffs it was in the hands of the other clubs and before the big campaign of the fans took off also and the ticket office fed the line naively i took them up

It wasnt very clear, the SFA were bending over backwards to have them if they had their way they would still be here.

No offence but it was pretty clear there was a very good chance. Its not the ticket office fault either as im sure they were under the same impression as yourself at that time then???

Im not saying it was a dead cert they wouldnt be playing in the SPL but there was a lot of confusion at the time so if i was asked to buy Rangers tickets in advance there is no way i would have till everything was decided.

Spot on mate. Its their "job" to sell. They were only doing their job so no point blaming them. Im sure thinking back you must regret your own decision to take a punt that they would still be in the SPL.
