Thing is Griffiths isn’t effective by himself in our system in the league. It was a system made for Dembele. I’d like to see him and Eddy given a go together.

Big Boyata has some 2nd half there.

2nd in group on goal difference.
If they had actually had griff on at start we would probably have been top of group

Wonder who overruled Brendan and his * passing game for a long ball.

    It does work you know!

Way better than vs. St. Mirren. We at least tried to be direct from time to time. And we were rewarded for our toils in the most direct sort of pass producing a goal.

87 minutes of trying to walk the ball through a wall into the net... goal comes from a scott brown ball over the top by a player who "needs to do more".

Really starting to question br these days.

If broony hadnt have lumped that ball up we were looking at a 0-0 against a truly pish side at home. Wheres the * adaptability in our tactics?

He should never have played against Juve and that completely * his confidence.

Refusing to switch it and play long at times is snobbish

We were pretty lucky to collect the 3 points. Really flat performance with only Tierney really on song in an attacking sense.

Ntcham was dreadful. So many slack passes that could have cost us. Lustig was bad, too. Can't cross a ball anymore. He can barely cross the halfway line.

I actually wanted this to happen last season. His biggest uses are best realized when he's permanently in the opposition box.

Agreed wasn’t fit, but when fully fit he never regained his form from the first half of the season.

Mental to think he was so good and then turned out pish.

Frustrating, sums that match up. We struggled to create chances but credit to Rodgers for bringing Griff on and credit to Griff for getting the winning goal.

Lustig continues to look past it.

He’s been fantastic defensively this season and needs to be given credit for that.

Should never have been played so early against Juve (cheating *)
