If we can take 4 points off Anderlecht, we will get a crack at the Europa.

Thats about the best we can hope for here lads.

Can we put an end to idiot comments like this and ban these posters
Idiot on the pitch will probably mean closed doors for Anderlect game and we will be out of Europe - ban him for life - older guys will remember the Rapid Vienna games; were a lot less affected us adversely for years

Disgrace of a performance, don't even agree that PSG played that amazingly.

Neymar wasn't at his best, Mbappe wasn't, Cavani ineffective for large periods.

We gave it away, sold the jersey. Done on the counter time and time again, over committing time and time again.

PSG won the game in the midfield, it was easy. Verrati sauntered around the pitch, Rabiot likewise.

So disappointing. Rodgers needs a major rethink, IMO, tactics wise in Europe. Far, far too open - You just don't get away with in on this stage.

Agreed but last two years have been groups from *
Still think it must be our aim to qualify and get the money
Also with the right group , a proper defence, a bit of luck , barring injuries we could sneak 2nd

That was the dream to begin with. * the last 16. We would just get pumped anyway.

7 points is possible after the top 2 are qaulified and rest the full first team in the last game so we get 3 points :56:

CL money or not it wont make a difference.
Our board seem to have decided we will never go far in the CL so they keep investment in the team to a minimum.
We had a great season last year building a great platform for us to go to the next level and what happens?
We get minimum investment as you know we are struggling in defence and what ever way ye look at it we should have had that sorted before we kicked off our CL campaign.
And its not just defence but all thats for another day,the point is the board seem to have decided ,win the league and get into CL and get the money for that and hope for a few lucky results along the way.

I was at both the Rapid and PSG games and that last night was far more serious than a single bottle that was thrown all those years ago, for someone to enter the field like that and even contemplate attacking a player in that way deserves the same punishment and criticism that ned got at Hearts with Lenny.

Not sure if this will result in a stadium ban, I really hope not but it is a possibility I'm afraid considering our past charges.

That guy was a * and a lifetime ban is the least I expect here

    * me, talk about over-reaching. that's quite the wee story you've concocted yourself there.

From a guy running on the pitch to stadium closures and out of Europe as a result.

    Ignore the troll.

See, this is why I don't want the 'Glamour ties' like some people do. Like some have said, I get no enjoyment in watching teams destroy us in front of the world. I hated last night, I don't appreciate how good PSG and I certainly didn't enjoy the wankfest over Neymar. Who, typically scored and acted like a complete *.

I'd much rather a less appealing group like Liverpool got! Where, we have a good chance of holding our own and even progressing.

I'm sick of Celtic getting one of the hardest possible groups :triplomur

Still, this was a 'free game' sort of thing and our big test is the game v Anderlecht. We'll be able to get up the pitch and support Roberts/Sinclair and I'm confident of getting a crucial victory.

Europa League slot would be great for us.

PSG will probably win this competition as I can't see anyone beating able to deal with their forward trio of talent. Real Madrid possibly, but PSG should reach the final I reckon. Fair play, they were absolutely incredible last night, much as I hate to admit it.

Hopefully PSG win every game now until we meet again in France so they are sitting pretty on 15 points so that should some miracle happen in which we somehow win our remaining home games and win away at Belgium, we may just stand a chance of 2nd.

By * though am I clutching at straws for that, just out of sheer professionalism though I have to assume even after last night Rodgers thinks 10 points is possible
