omfg! isn't this an interesting morning!

i think we can handle the russians! we should be slight favourites! but in the next round if we get drawn against a strong team we can be in the europa cup instead of champs league!

anyway NOTE to celtic staff: try to win the league from now on so that we don't need to do these qualifying rounds!

People, the more i look into this team the less worried i am about them.

They are currently sitting 7th in the Russian League after 13 games.
They have won 6, drawn 2 and lost 5.
There average goals per game is 1.08 compared to their average goals conceded per game 1.15.
If you look at the teams they've lost to in the league this season they are not exactly world beaters - Volgar Gazprom Astrakhan, Amkar Perm, CSKA Moscow, Krylya Sovetov, Rubin Kazan.

Although they have beaten Spartak and Zenit.

OK, it's not the easiest draw. Russian clubs are fairly decent right now, they're already 3 or 4 months into their season, and long travel for the away leg.

However, there are several plus points here.

    1) Dynamo haven't exactly been setting the grass on fire this season - won 6, drawn 2, lost 5.

    2) Their stadium is out of commission right now, so they'll be playing their home games at a diffferent ground.

    3) We're going to have to play a good team in the final playoff, so a couple of tough fixtures beforehand will get us up to speed.

No reason for dismay here - let's do them! :50:

It ain't going to be easy, but you Celts should be able to beat them. Dynamo isn't that good this season as the previous year when they won their Champs League ticket, and it has already been announced that they'll probably get $0.00 for summer transfers, unless they sell Kerzhakov back to Zenit.

    To elaborate their lineup:

GK Gabulov - 2nd or 3rd goalie of Russian national team, but much weaker than #1.

They've got a couple of good centre-backs, Kolodin and Fernandez, both also score relatively often, but their fullbacks aren't even nearly as strong.

Their midfield line suffered serious losses recently (Danny and Semshov sold to Zenit), and the only good CM remaining is Khokhlov, who is pretty old and slow, so there are ways to demolish him completely on the field. Their wingers are Kombarov twins - good and promising but not (yet?) stars.

While their first-choise striker Kerzhakov is a serious threat, all the others are complete crap, so he will face your 4 defenders alone.

Overall, you should treat them seriously, but not as a stronger opponent. I really wish you to beat teh * out of those *.

By the way, if you are going to prepare banners for the game - their nickname is "garbages", mwahaha.

i hope we can score 2 or 3 goals at home! then we have a great chance over there where it will be very hard? dinamo are a good club with good fans aswell ! so respect has to go to them as i think they will be thinking the same about us tbh!

i still think we can do it,i hope we can? but if we dont? its not the end of the world as the europa will be there for us anyway and we will continue playing in europe

the one we didnt want , but i think we will just get through , we play at cp first , so if we can get a 2 or 3 goal advantage that could take us through.

    Alright mate?

If you can get near a computer, log in to:

    www.myp2p.eu

you can pretty much catch any game in the world which is being broadcast in there for free. I use it all the time as I am in Luxembourg.

Otherwise, take some holidays and book a cheap flight back to Scotland!

    All the best.
