I think the problem is some folk on here don't come into contact with fans of these 'diddy clubs'. I know supporters of the clubs I listed and they almost dislike each other as much as I dislike your average orc. I also admire these supporters as they turn up, many home and away every * week, to support a team that has virtually zero chance of every playing in the top flight far less actually winning something, that is some level of support/dedication imo.

Seen Ann Budge will take legal action if Hertz are relegated.

Not sure how solid their case is.

I hate the diets as much as anyone but with a fairly small gap at the bottom I can see their point.

I think the point someone on here made about expanding the league for one season would be a good solution.

Apart from that I would suggest some sort of financial compensation for them would be a fair compromise. Tbh if they go down but with a decent cash package that would probably be hugely beneficial to them. They should really consider that offer if it’s made.

You're right. You're totally right. I was being really self-centred there. Football would be much poorer without them. I kind of lost my mind for a moment there.

Ideally we all wanted/want to see the season finished but its looking increasingly unlikely that will be possible/practical, as we cant finish the season next season as that will cause more problems so ....

    :62: :62: :62: :62: :62: :62: :62: :62: its .... :62:

Of course they could stay up. As much as I hate them it would be a bit *.

I'm not having a go at anyone mate, I'm just trying to point out one of the biggest gripes supporters from the lower leagues complain about when they speak about us. We rip into the arrogance of the epl and how the supporters in that view us after all.

Totally agree, mate. Glad you posted.

I went off in my head with a fantasy of a stronger league and all the rest of it; but I was deliberately overlooking that these fans love their clubs as much as we love Celtic. Clubs like Morton and St Mirren (who geographically would be obvious candidates for merger) hate each other almost as much as the Huns and ourselves.

Also, as I think you allude to, these fans are looking after the soul of football and, when this soulless corporate era finally * off, they are the ones who will be most able to bring it back for us all.

For sure it might feel a bit strange and awkward for a while at first but we will all be so stir crazy I am guessing by that point at not being able to go to games that that will not last too long.

    Aye * them.

But also, if you get her onside the Huns won’t have a leg to stand on.

I think even she isn’t calling for null and void, just that the season be finished when it can - which just shows how pathetic an option null and void is.

she also said she is open to the idea of , shortening next season ( no betfred cup ) the semi final of the scottish in Aug/Sep in order to get this season finished

hopefully thats been spoken about , i really want to get this league finalised without it been given to us

Is null and void even an option though?

I've yet to see anyone credible saying that's how the season will likely end..

Not sure why the whole game had to be close down. Play the games behind closed doors. I’m still at my work, in an office of like 70 people 8 hours a day. So why can’t footballers who are out in the open for only 90 minutes get the games done. Why are they so special? I’m on a pure rant today.

Dundee United are already primed from the opposite end so there really is no compromise that doesn’t effect someone adversely. Ultimately someone is going to be hard done by.

Hearts should have done better for 2/3 of the season then they wouldn’t be in the position they are.

‘AS’ recalls that in 1999, when the Yugoslavian league was suspended because of the NATO bombing, UEFA decided to make Partizan Belgrade champions, who were top at that moment.

Do you not think promoting Dundee United and allowing Hearts stay in the league could be a good compromise? And then 3 teams get relegated next season. Think that's the talk in the EPL, rumours anyway that there could be a 22 team league next season with 5 relegated.

Any hun I know has been saying the league is over weeks ago. Rather see the season played to a finish but if they do just average the points and we are champions now its deserved. Made all the sweeter that they'll go off their *! :)

Then Caley, Dundee and Ayr all feel hard done by...

I’d rather Hearts stayed up, for all their fans are * but if they are relegated it’ll be because they’ve won 4 out of 30 games and not because they didn’t play the final 8.
