Vata, Brooks and Moffat seem to have had great starts to the season.

 

Would like to know how many fans were there, place sounded like it was bouncing for the first goal. If so that’s fantastic for the young boys to be involved in, exactly what they need in terms of progression.

 

Night and day between these games and the previous set up. Its just much more competitive.

Moffat and Lawal look like they could step up another level. Perhaps a move on loan to league one or two in January.

This Colts set up is gonna be * brilliant for our development squads.

 

I just hope that they’re allowed to rejoin next season. Surely the other clubs in the league will see the financial benefit of them being there.

 

I'd like to think that there's no reason that they shouldn't be, there are university teams in that league after all.

I'd like to see them invited into league 2 but there is a fairness question there at that point of they don't excell in this league

 

Vata's only 15? Ooft..

Brooks looks a player and very highly rated, heard his name a few time's now..

Moffat looked good again but in the video one of the most impressive was Ben Wylie. Involved in everything in the highlights..

I was against the idea of this due to the level our player's would be playing at but seeing 15/16/17 year olds, playing infront of decent crowd's, against men, is a good thing..

Can they win promotion to the bottom tier?

 

Loved the look of Lawal, Moffat and Vata.

No promotion etc.

They are currently on a 1 year deal to play in the lowland league. So without further agreement they will not be involved in any league next year.

 

I think there might be appetite for us in the bottom tier next year with the way it's going..

Starting to be really competitive and the crowd's from us and them, particularly after the pandemic, will be a boost for a lot of club's. I can only see attendances growing as well..

 

The biggest problem is, the lower league teams are in total denial that the league setup needs changed, teams like Elgin, Cowdenbeath and Brechin adamant that they don’t want reconstruction. Trying to save their history and 220 fans. That will tie up us ever being allowed into the SPFL with the colts, too many voices with too many own agenda ideas sadly.

 

Lawal looks quality. Hopefully not long until he's in the first team squad.

 

Moffat's been training with the first team. I wonder how many others are? Lawal is (I think) only 17 but already looks a real presence. Good in the air. And I really liked Moffat's running at the defence and chipping into space for his far winger. Vata has some real quality also.

 

Where's Dane Murray playing now if he's neither in the first team or the Colts?

 

Maybe going out on loan somwhere? Imagine same for Robertson, Connell, Henderson, McInroy etc.
