total rubbish imo...hibs and hearts could EASY compete mid table in the premiership never mind the championship...and with the revenue those sides recieve right now they would push even higher with that money..IMO of course

jasus what size font are u using btw:56:
    anyway..
yea when i heard the team that night i waz sick..i mean ffs we gave them a head start playing players out of position etc..
waz looking forward 2 proper celtic team v. man u and strachan * around with tactics again:31:
i wanted proper celtic 4-4-2 to go toe 2 toe with united and show no mercy..after all we were the home side and have the best home record in europe mate:87:

we got lucky no doubt and yet strachan still * around with tactics everytime we play anyone half decent...does that not tell u something

first time i waz ever waz dissapointed in a celtic CL win cause we were clearly outplayed due 2 negative tactics from the start..theres more 2 football than results mate
hopefully WGS has learned his lesson:50: i reckon we could have beaten united easy that nite with a more positive outlook from the start imo playing our normal game
    anyway:60: drink up rt

The Championship is not over hyped at all IMO.. The quality and competition in it are well above that of the SPL.

I think basic technique and tactical savey is spread better throughout the SPL in the last 2 years than it had been in decades, There are few easy games now compared to 3 or 4 years ago.

I think English football is totally overhyped. Below the top 5 or 6, the EPL is no big deal. Right now I could see us being about 7th and if we got the EPL revenue we would win it within 3 years.

I know exactly what you mean and dont like it when a negative looking tactical team is put on. WGS does that in Europe and in the toughest SPL games too. He did it against Hearts and Man U home and it worked so it looked cunning but when it doesnt work you are left wondering if we should have played our normal attacking team and do teams like Hearts and Rangers away need that level of respect. Anyway, it seems from his record that WGS knows best.

i waz the one said we played * that night:97: and WE DID...
we should have taken the game 2 them from the start..
WE got lucky and i HATE MAN U and i admit it ....it waz not the victory i waz looking for anyway..they defo outplayed us..and in dublin there are man u fans everywhere who think celtic are a piece of * so thats why i waz disapointed..
we could easily have beaten them with our BEST TEAM no luck involved IMO

GS has only one chance to get it right, people can spend weeks saying how wrong or how right he got the tactics on any particular night. He's gotten them more right than wrong and if he had a full strength squad for the big matches maybe he could use "better" tactics.

I dont doubt him because he puts his hand up when he knows he got tactics wrong but when he knows they aint working, he changes them if he has the right players to make it work. Sometimes he didnt have Hesselink or Beattie to do a more direct style, he only had Jarosik because Miller and Zurawski are ball at feet players.

I'm pretty sure he knew that Jiri was a long odds option but he felt that it the right way to take on some teams.

    i disagree mate..
he had the opportunity 2 play his best team and formation against all the top sides we have faced...and EVERY TIME HE CHANGES IT we revert back 2 normal after the break and strachan is some TACTICAL GENIUS?? bollox... we have been getting away with murder now for too long and its time WGS kept the 4-4-2 and picked his best team and stuck 2 it from now till the end of season..
    my team would be
    boruc

    wilson(when fit)
    naylor
    elvis(caldwell for CL)
    mcmanus

    naka
tommy g(time 2 move up a few gears)
    thomson(if we sign him)
    mcgeady(riordan as back up)

    jvoh
    beattie

AND STICK 2 IT...allow the team time to gel etc.

imo..if given time 2 gel that side would beat AC MILAN

Sky sports news says that celtics bid is no where near there estimation of the player and that he is not for sale.
