    Haha there would be an outcry from everyone...but not crazy if fans want to compete at the levels they speak about on here.

    One fan thinks we should be in the £5-£15m player bracket. Amazing

    anyway people want desmond to punt in his hard earned cash to bail us out correct? so why is it he should do this and say folk will moan if celtic did pump up the ticket prices in order for us to compete better? theres got to be some kind of understanding here.desmond will lose a friggin fortune if he did this and i am in no doubt theres fans that would be more than happy to pay 1000 a seaon on season tickets and also there will be ones that will freak out. this swings in roundabouts people.

    I was making a point,not trying to say they had done a runner with the money
    But surely if you take in 17 million on transfers...you should try and make this available to the manager

    Fact is the board never invested in the team when rangers were on their knee's and we lost 3 titles because of this...how much is Desmond taking out the club in dividends? How much bonus does lawell get when the team is unsuccessful, as it has been over the last 3 years? Perhaps you who knows all about the accounts can answer the question

    Desmond took no dividend. It shows what he was entitled to but he never took it out.

    Tbh it's not really Desmond's fault that Strachan, O'neill and Mowbray have spunked cash up the wall in recent years with signings and wages given to diddy's.

    With respect, putting the average ticket price would affect the average supporter, it would hit their pockets hard, say a good few % of their wealth, compared to a few million of Desmond who has personal wealth of over a billion, would be less than 1%.

    We weren't in profit, how could he have been entitled to a dividend? He's in the wrong business if he's after making a profit, i've seen no return on my shares, but that's not why I bought them, if i'd wanted returns, I'd have invested in an oil company. I have Celtic shares for a love of the club

    We had european success under the first two mentioned. By that I mean Uefa cup final and champs league last 16 - hardly "diddy's". Lennon brought Murphy ffs
