    He is decent but no better than what we have IMO. Wide MF is very low priority IMO.

    Better than McGinn and Maloney, we've seen little of Kapo and Ljungberg is a short term fix.

    Signing him on a free, provided his wages weren't stupid, would be a no brainer.

    Rangers and Celtic are set to go head-to-head to sign Kris Commons from Derby County this month.

    Commons is out of contract at the end of the season and Derby are bracing themselves for an approach from Rangers if Kenny Miller's transfer to the Turkish champions, Bursaspor, goes through, giving them the money to fund a bid.

    Celtic were hoping to sign Commons on a free transfer in the summer but their hand will be forced if Rangers try to broker a deal beforehand.

    Derby have matched Commons's salary demands but are realistic about their hopes of keeping the Scotland international in the face of interest from Rangers and Celtic.


    Would have him no problem better than anything we have now.
