Kyogo is the type of player Liverpool would have signed under Joe Fagin to have up front.

 

Calmac and Hatate are irreplaceable in that team at present and we need another as equal, to have a 'holy trinity' in the Celtic midfield.

 

Still cracking up at how much of a diddy that Davies is. Proper pansy as well, look at him no wanting to get hurt going for the header here

 

I would agree and would put Calmac, Kyogo, Taylor and Johnston in the same category. I see the Canadian as a future vice-captain of Celtic.

Ah lads sent the Hoops down to be cleaned in the hotel here in Alicante and its just came back. Round 2 of the wind up to commence......though I haven't seen many of the huns about today......

 

I didnt think we played well at all and really struggled with our passing in the opening 20-30 minutes, especially moving the ball into the final third.

I thought we looked disjointed in midfield, Mooy looked really off the pace and I would have started Hatate off the back of Ross county.

It was a game of individual quality and fortunately we simply have more than them.
Kyogos movement and finishing and Jotas speed, touch and finish. They just cant match that.

He did, and he is a quality player, no doubt. We have the likes of Abada who could can come in and have done likewise against the huns though. Hatate out yesterday and we have absolutely nobody to replace what he brings to the team. That’s the main reason why I feel Hatate is more important just now over Jota. Both are top players, but we simply don’t have the same depth to replace Hatate compared to Jota.

Watched the game back, this time more objectively, and we were better than I remember, with the one exception of Mooy who was terrible. Sevco offered absolutely nothing really, except set pieces, and we dominated most of the game.

One thing that was missed is that we should have had a penalty when Oh went down. Slow motion replay shows that Soutar trips him.

 

Im assuming Police Prodland arrested Clancy?

I would like to think he would fit the bill moving forward, and alternate with the other two and Mooy depending on injury concerns. I still think we need a Norman Hunter type player, as a defensive midfielder to bolster the defensive part of our game when needed. Bitton did this to a certain extent at Celtic. I think Yuki would be good in such a role as well.
