Does/can var check two incidents in one viewing? I thought it was a handball yesterday when it happened. I thought maybe that's what they where checking aswell.

Was a day for showing a bit of fight and getting the job done. Was * horrendous in the stands, can only imagine how it felt on the pitch, Joe Hart was doing random sprints to keep warm. :56:

    Not pretty, done enough.

Yeh it can check multiple incidents in the same phase of play if that's what you are asking.

Right I hate the offside rule as is but can almost accept that Kyogo was offside is his heel was in fact ahead.

But how do they explain the Hatate one? All we're seeing recently is about people not being offside if they're not interfering with play, and that when the opposition touch the ball a new phase starts. I genuinely don't know how they can explain that.

It's Abada but worse, because he was actually interfering in a way by running towards the ball.

We've seen two or three goals like this down south recently and all have stood. Why are the rules different up here?

EDIT: I genuinely don't know exactly what the rules are anymore and I doubt those working in the game do either.

Yeah that's what I meant. I thought it was only one incident per stop play. Cheers for clarifying that up.

One of those could've been givens. Don't think it's as stonewall as made out. Bit clumsy but guy backs in and collapses like a sack of spuds..

Funnily enough there was one on Scales yesterday very similar where he was bear hugged and went down but there was zero mention of it after whatsoever. Craigan called it a 'coming together'.......

Would have been a soft penalty. To me it’s a 50/50 and one of those ones where whoever is on the wrong end of it complains.

Huffed and puffed a bit, but got the job done which was all that mattered. It’s another final. We struggled to create clear cut chances. We looked very suspect at defending crosses into our box as well. First time in a long time I can remember being very nervy when the opposition got a set piece. They seemed to win almost every first ball they put in. Thought Mooy and McGregor were probably our two best. Conditions didn’t help either to be fair. Pitch was churning up badly second half.

Like others have said, we'd have been screaming for it. I still say it's a pen TBH. In today's football, ya just can't get away with that. If he'd have give it, I couldn't see many supporters disagreeing with it tbh. We got aff lucky with that one.
