Catering survey - Dissertation help required

Foods alright I suppose. It's overpriced, but depending on where I'm sitting, I get it free anyway.

I agree it doesn't sound that great but in winter it's a lifesaver. And surprisingly tasty.

I think the reason that more fast food chains like McD's, Greggs etc are not inside football stadiums is that the food stalls are a money maker for the clubs, bring in a chain and of course they are going to take a hefty chunk of that profit. Clubs will continue to run their own stalls so they can buy cheap and sell high to what is a captive audience.

 

Waiting times are ridiculous. It seems that they don't bother cooking stuff until orders come in. They should start to have stuff made earlier so that when someone comes in and orders a pie and chips they can give him his food and he can go, rather than having to wait ages to get the food ready. Unless you go to the stall after about 35/40 mins (at a push) of the game you've little chance of getting your order before the second half starts.

 

Was not my intention to offend, so apologies.

My point, if a little harshly put, was that Celtic serve up cheap crap food, use cheap labour, whilst charging premium prices.

 

I have to say, the grub at Victoria Park (the Global Energy Stadium) in Dingwall is of a good standard (was last time I bought a pie there anyway).

 

The food at CP is *, i just get chips from the van right next to the turnstiles. Pittodrie pies arent bad.

 

The wee chippy vans outside Celtic park are far far better, if they can sell good stuff then why can't Celtic

 

Chip van I go to right next to the dairy is amazing-suppers are fantastic and the burgers are pretty good too.Reasonably priced too.
Usually just have a coffee or bovril when inside but occasionally my cousin will put his hand in his pocket and buy me a pie-not the greatest pies but certainly not the worst.Best pies ever had were at Killie and Dunfermline.

I think there should be healthier and fresher choices such as fruit.
