Sports arenas and fast food chains are missing out on some major cash by not getting together.

Could you imagine a Greggs at the football? Even Burger King/McDonalds/KFC?
Of course it would be pricier than the High st lets but it would be better than the * and and out the stadium, and not more expensive either.

That's coz he can't fit through the turnstiles. And on that subject, do you not think that the gates at iBrokes are a bit narrow since they have the fattest fans in the UK? I remember a study ( in the most relaxed term) that they, and ICT had the biggest fans......5XL!!!!football shirts, where St Mirren were the smallest.:smiley-laughing002:

If it's that bad and priced ott,why do some of you buy it ?

Eat before you go in,or take a pic-nic.

It's a ninety minute match. I travel over (often having eaten very little on the trip due to various reasons) and walk up the Gallowgate, I may be late and trying to get to CP as quickly as possible, the chippers and burger vans may be bunged on the way up. There's plenty of reasons why people feel the need to buy something at CP.

Admittedly it's a choice, but one whose hand is forced by necessity more often than not.

I travel over also, but always seem to be able to get some food down my neck.

90 minute match, aye i sort of knew that, folk don't have to eat every 90 minutes nor anything.

I think it is possible to avoid the food at matches.

I completely agree that's it possible to avoid the food at matches. I'll be the first to admit that I just want to get to CP when I land in Glasgow and just take it from there. I usually only notice I haven't eaten once I'm actually at the ground.

Sheer laziness, or just single-mindedly heading for CP, I concede.

They should just do Pot Noodles and Cup a Soups.
    Bread and butter.

    £2 a go,all is good.

    It's a disgrace.

You stand in long queues to be served by a minimum-wage moron, then pay £3 for an 'aldi burger' that cost them 50p for ten and is over-cooked.

Stopped going ages ago, just bring in my own food.

I can't remember the last time I ate something at the ground. Probably 2005 or something.

Besides the food being over priced sub standard crap there's also a total lack of variety. Considering the amount of take away places around the ground I'm surprised there's none within Celtic Park.

    "Minimum-wage morons"?

Kind of unjustly considering the majority of people that work in them are 16-17 years olds who are forced to work because there is little other jobs around. To be fair, they get paid more than the average wage for a 16 year old aswell. I would know because I work in one. As much as I want another job I can't get one because of times with school etc and just because the food is * doesnt mean you need to blame it on the till workers.

The cheeseburgers are only £3.20 or something, not bad considering they are bigger and nicer than any of the chip vans I've tried outside. They usually charge closer to £4 lol

I think its ridiculous to suggest that you can't live for 90 minutes without food.

As FawCough says, just eat before you go in or wait until you get out. Your not going to die because you didn't pay £9 for a cheeseburger.

Common sense I think. If people don't buy the * on offer then they will need to improve the quality and lower the price.

Hahaha, lucky you. After working in the place I would never eat any of the food. Bovril is the only thing I would get..
