caught the end of McEntire unsolved last night and it was the story of this 14 year old battered and throw in water over in Dumbarton, what shocked me was apparently everyone over there knows who did it her mum said I think I see him in town most days,anyone know anything about this story 1st iv heard of it although it was 1997 so sad

It happened in Renton which is a wee village next to Dumbarton.....for the record.
Those who know who did it should be going to the police and giving them his name and standing witness against him....brutal and heartbreaking that no one has been caught for it.
Police probably have a fair idea but they can't pin it on him....really needs those in the know to do the decent thing for Caroline and her mother and give statements of all they know.
Her mother is a strong woman I'll tell you that, heaven only knows how she copes with this.
