He's doing well in Spain and when I check he usually has good ratings. Be very surprised if he came back.

Yes every time I have seen him playing this season he has done well for Celta. Don't see him coming back though and his age would be a factor too for me. He turns 30 this summer so nothing long term makes any sense there at all.

https://www.expressen.se/sport/fotb...o-och-como-i-forhandlingar-om-carl-starfelt-/Celta Vigo and Como in negotiations for Carl Starfelt | Serie A | Expressen

Expressen already revealed in February that Serie A club Como's interest in Swedish national team defender Carl Starfelt
and the signing attempt was rejected by Celta Vigo.

The La Liga club did not want to sell their key player in the middle of the season, and Como coach Cesc Fàbregas instead had to settle for postponing the new signing attempt until this summer.

Now a move to Italy is on the cards again.

According to information from Expressen, Como has made a bid for Starfelt and the Serie A club is currently in negotiations with Celta Vigo and his agent about a transfer.

Italian media have mentioned that the deal could end up being a bit over 100 million kronor, but the exact price has not been set, and the clubs are currently in full talks.

In May 2024, Como was promoted to Serie A for the first time in 21 years, and last season, Fàbregas' team finished in tenth place – exceeding all expectations.

This season, the club wants to focus on challenging for European places, and behind them is the Djarum Group, which is owned by the wealthy Indonesian family Michael Bambang Hartono and Robert Budi Hartono.

One guy I can imagine swaggering about Como is him.

Would have him back in a heartbeat, can't see it though.

We got strung when we sold him that’s stating a price of about £7.5m. I always felt we should have been getting at least that when we let him go.

An international defender in his peak years with CL experience. Hopefully it’s another that we have a sell on in the deal.
