    Yes it should.

Personal choice on this matter should prevail and negative social issues dealt with. It's not a problem in Amsterdam where it's legal.

It would take the drug factor out of organised crime, and allow more public spending through taxes.

I myself don't like the stuff, but I do enjoy some LSD a couple of times a year, and it * me off that I have to go on a mission to find some.

I agree, most 'mind altered' troopers I've met are content to set out on their own mystical journey to inward self awareness and appreciation for life. This may or may not include talking to pot plants.

"Chaotic smackheads and junkies" doesn't quite fit the description :84:

Cannabis leads to extreme mental problems...

Therefore I don't want mad men running around my streets

Therefore I conclude that the notion of legalising Cannabis is pathetic

PS. All smoking should be banned imo, They waste our taxes trying to save their lifes

Smokers contribute more in tax than they use up.

Why should I pay to have someone's lung removed if they are determined to give themselves lung cancer?

Furthermore why should I pay for a hash heed to have counselling?

    I await your answer.........

I agree Jonny , well put , i have seen the effects of Cannabis 1st hand on many youngsters and people that are middle aged and can only say that it * with their lives ..Its a buzz thing about being illegal as well , if you legalize it you may find users turning to more harder drugs as its then illegal for harder drugs ...

Smoking normal cigarettes should be banned as well and i can only congratulate Scotland for leading the way in banning the likes in public places 1st :50:

Most crimes are committed due to Drug problems as well ie (feeding the habit)

Ban it all , give dealers life ..the trouble is in all seriousness dealers are using young people 7-10 yr old to do their dealing for them as they are below the age of criminal responsibility ......can of worms or what ??

this is something i have a lot to say on believe me !!!!

Bill Clinton used to smoke it.His life turned out pretty well, hit the top in his chosen profession.
Lennon & McCartney.Don't ye like Pink Floyd??Cos * all of their songs were made while they were sober.
I've smoked it ,mates have smoked it we all have steady jobs and not to boast too much but are pillars,i'll say it again pillars of the local community. And i don't crave heroin.least not yet anyways
Ye can't just ban something cos ye don't like it ffs it is still a democracy.

Are ye familiar with Bill Hicks by any chance??
