I have been a Celtic supporter since i was 5 years old. Always have and always will be a Celtic fan. A fella said to me one day, yeah but who do you support in the premiership, i said, no one. I have a soft spot for Everton but dont really give a * if they win or lose. Whereas Celtic is life or death to me. What about you? Can you love 2 teams?
Discuss can you love more than 1 team in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.

I like DC United, because I lived in that area for a while. I genuinely follow them and really get into their games. I like Barcelona because of what they have stood for in the past and their style of play. I like the team in Tijuana, just down the road and in another country, because the atmosphere (and drinking age) is wonderful down there. I like the Chargers and Padres because they are the local NFL and MLB team here in San Diego, and I go to their games often.
But simply put, nothing compares to the emotions from waking up at 6 in the morning after an intense Friday or Saturday night of college life, just to watch Celtic on my computer. My roomates think its crazy, but there really is no alternative to watching a Celtic game. I haven't had the oppurtunity of going to Paradise itself, but my emotions are still pinned to the fortunes of that collection of men in green and white shirts 8 timezones away. So while its possible to like more than one time, it isn't possible (for me, anyways) to invest as much as I have in Celtic in another team. -

I support Man Utd as well, but I don't 'love' them. Celtic drawing against Killie would hurt me more than United losing to Bolton.

I think you can like many other teams (mine are D.C. United and Valencia) but I think you'd be fooling yourself if you say you love any other team besides Celtic.

Can appreciate good football and skillful players from other teams (Barca,Man utd,Arsenal,AC Milan), only CELTIC can make me happy/sad/proud, and that love will never change win lose or draw.
But i do LOVE to see the HUNS get humped. -
I also support Hiroshima, but tbh I don't really follow the results. They got relegated from J1 last season and frankly, I don't give a *. However, Celtic defeats and undesirable draws (let's say against Gretna) depress me for days...If we lose the title this season I'll be down for two months:38: It's a strange feeling really, I never lived in the UK and am growing up in a fitba-hating family (they don't even know that I support the Hoops...it's likely that they don't even know that such a team exists, although I do own a shirt). Despite all these Obstacles, I can't help but lurrving Celtic.

Futbol has been my passion from boy. Memory whole nights without sleeping waiting for with illusion the next macht of Barcelona. Memory with emotion my first uniform with the colors “blau I grana”. Specially the pride to shine the shield of the Club. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
With the years I underwent many deceptions with my team, and got to cry of rage and impotence before the aggressions of the pro-Franco dictatorship towards Catalonia and FC Barcelona.
I have the shield of silver by more than 25 years of fidelity to the Club and I must to you say that the love by a Club is the only thing in the life that cannot be changed, although you try it. It is like the love to the mother or the children. Something difficult to describe rationally.
In spite of it ,I love specially to the Celtic, because just as Barcelona it represents the national dignity pressed by two states the Spanish and the British. These two Clubs demonstrate to the entire world that the peoples are over everything and that never they will be able to win to us. History is with us and it is work and sacrifice of the people. By this, by the spirit of fight and the dignity of our nations, Scotland and Catalunya, I also love and I admire to the Celtic. I wish the best for both Clubs Wednesday. I wait for a great spectacle and what win the best one.
Wednesday 20 I will be in Celtic Park to sing with great emotion YNWA with all you.

I agree with most of ye but i do like Everton. If they lose i can get over it preety quick but when celtic lose or draw it kills me for days.

i support all the teams that play against the huns every week ,naw only one team for me the celtic
-
Same sentiments here. I support Liverpool - as does the rest of my family. I have been to LFC with my eldest daughter a couple of times but its not "in my blood" as Celtic are. I am of mixed Irish/Scottish heritage so I suppose that speaks for itself. However, seeing the Huns get beat does give me a particular pleasure...

Celtic are the only team for me as a suporter it would be impossible to be as pasionate for another club as for me that would defeat the purpose.
However like others on this thread I suport talent weather that be a Kaka or a Ronaldo. Also I have a soft spot for Real Madrid the Harlem Globe Trotters of the football world.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 16, 2008 -

Didint realise you were countign national teams. Have to say only the national team equals Celtic. I cant say one over the other. We have had threads on this before though so no point in going over this again. BTW, the national team represnts gods own country NOT the SFA.
