Minor assault you should be fine, just make sure you have all your documentation with you (accommodation etc) and you will be fine.

Is it a family or lads holiday? (might make a difference)

Should be fine they are more looking for crimes of dishonesty, terrorism or drug offences I'd imagine.

Had a similar problem, i had to go to embassy in London for an interview to get a holiday visa. I had to get a lawyer involved as well, your best bet is to speak to your solicitor.

You should be fine but apply for your Visa early in case you need to attend an Embassy interview. If called to one you will need your documentation and proof of funds etc.

Usually it's prison convictions that get knocked back especially if for drugs or serious crimes.

You should be fine but it can differ from person to person.

I would personally contest the charge, disliking court rooms or otherwise. Why take something on your record, which could affect you and your family, when you are convinced it was erroneously given in the first place?

Don't tell them anything btw. In general, they only know what you tell them.

The more you say, the more you dig.

2 weeks just worried cause the other half wants to go to florida again a year or so away I'm sure the esta format asks have you arrested or convicted with a crime of moral turpitude, so looked up crimes that come under that and minor assault doesn't so I'm hoping things will be okay, never even touched the guy cops have stitched me up big time I had a black eye, eye ball was blood shot face was swollen and bruised and the cops are saying they never seen it and wouldn't let me counter charge. I was concussed for 3 days the police also refused me medical treatment on the night also.

Well, as for your case, i hope you have a good lawyer as judges tend to believe the police no matter the rights and wrongs of the situation.
Hope you have medical evidence to back up your injury claim.

As for visa, do not worry.
Go through the ESTA application online, remembering that they are valid for 2 years from date of approved application.
Since you are not guilty of any crime when you apply you are telling the truth at that time.
Once you have that approved application you do not need a visa as long as you are a holding a british passport.
Cost is $4 for the application and if ESTA application is approved then another $10 will be charged to same card at that time.

You just need to get the exact dates when you intend to travel plus it is best to have details where you are going to stay.
You will need that for the application.

You are correct about the moral turpitude part of application.
You do not 'qualify' for that part.

This is true. I have been loads of times with that on my record. The USA and Canada don't have access to UK police files so tell them fek all.
