Not the worst news at the end of the day considering I just shat myself thinking hes sold. I'll always remember that game against huns where he played through his injury, most heroic performance in my opinion.

There was a suggestion amongst fans that because Gustaf Lagerbielke’s route out of Celtic was blocked in January, it meant Cameron Carter-Vickers had picked up another injury.

Well, it turns out that is exactly what has happened. Rodgers confirmed this and revealed the timeline for the American defender’s return

Asked if he will be out for as long as Hatate, Rodgers replied: “No, not as long. The medical team are probably saying around three weeks.”

3 weeks means at least 4 or even 5 for me. We * need to make sure he is fit. Bring him on as a sub or only play him for a half etc. I think he is constantly being rushed back.

Still four or five games he's missing.

    Honking.

I'm taking everything in to consideration. This, Reo's injury, BR flip flopping statements, one of our worst Windows yet, poor treatment of Gus, keeping a hold McCarthy, not getting a LB. Mark Lawell still in a job. Giving the huns a step to parity in this seasons title and beyond if they win the league...

Aye, so 3 weeks isn't bad. But it's bad enough for where we are now.

Our back line has zero pace without him and it's killing us.

Concern is if we rush him back AGAIN and he's *...again.

    Same with Hatate.

Hoping he's back and in full flow for the sevco game. He's an absoloute rock. He'd just bring a bit more assurance in that back line. The only game I'd probably rush him back for tbh. Although we still pumped them without him anyway.

I don’t think we do rush him back. Surely he and the medical team know if he’s fit? Think sadly some players just pick up injury after injury. Phil O’Donnell, James Forrest early in his career, Kieran Tierney etc

Cameron Carter-Vickers is back out on the training pitch following his latest hamstring problem but will not be ready for the weekend.

He will make a massive difference when he’s back. He breeds confidence into the team and improves us drastically both defensively and offensively.

Problem is, are our medical staff any more competent than our scouting staff? We are all operating under the fallacy that anyone behind the scenes at the club has a * clue what they are doing or is there on merit and not just because they're Paddy's mates/family.

CCV is our single most important player, the one player we can least do without - much more so than Kyogo, McGregor, MoR, Hattate etc
Take care of him please Brendan :BR1:
