Callum McGregor

Only a matter of time til porteous breaks a leg or worse, he's got career ender written all over him. Some people were trying to make light of it when it was against the huns because the contact wasn't there, but it's the same wild lunge every time.

 

What is he the captain for? To tell Giakoumakis to go * himself as Juranovic is our penalty taker. I have liked Callum as a player and a nice guy, but from the start I have said there is NOTHING about him that speaks to me as a leader of men.

Absolutely gutless since we conceded at Hibs. No one is kicking these players up the * and demanding more from them. Everything is meek and passive and the lack of a real leader with fire and passion is a major reason for that I think personally.

Sadly there is no one else for the job. Absolutely disgusted with that result and performance. I don't think Callum will be shouting at anyone in that locker room. He'll be quietly asking if they want a cup of tea or a towel.

 

He's been great this season but thought he was pish today

 

Was poor but did improve slightly when he went into his natural position when Starfelt went off.

Poor from Callum for me today but has had a fine start to the season. Hardly the reason we slipped up.

 

Was terrible today, constantly passed the buck and very rarely took any initiative when opportunities opened up for him. Badly need some proper creative talent in our midfield.

 

Agreed.

He's essential to our midfield and we are weaker without him but he's never a captain. Just doesn't have the personality.

 

Used to be good for goals from midfield, so we know he can play that role well.

But in this system, he just has to be the number 6. He's been moved to the number 8 role a couple of times recently and been non-existent/poor.

Him and Kyogo make this team work. Moving them out of their best position is just madness.

 

Just passed it sideways and backwards and instructed players to do the same quite often. Strange performance.

Very poor again today and should have been subbed , getting fed up with the busy busy * and the constant sideway passes , he is a good player and should be running at players instead of taking the easy options.

 

I could be wrong but I dont remember him having a single shot on goal today. Considering he was playing in an advanced position due to Rogic being out and we were desperate for a goal, thats pretty poor from him. Too quiet and didnt influence the game in the way we would want him to.

 

Ill be honest i dont think hes been great this season and was atrocious last year.

Not a knee * summary either.
