Why do I get the impression that he knows more about tactics than the manager?

 

I'd try and sell him in the summer to the EPL. Hopefully does well with Scotland and we could use some of the cash to help the rebuild.

 

He's a tidy player etc etc and I'm sure he will thrive under a good manager, whether it's here or elsewhere but he's no captain material and a bit of a * pansy if the truth be told. You expect a bit more from your senior players.

 

Not been at his best but one I wouldn’t want to be going anywhere.

 

Id be amazed he's still here come the start of next season

McGregor just keeps the game ticking over. He was the same under Ronny then Rodgers took his game to another level but he is back to normal under Lennon. Had this debate with others. Christie & Brown wouldn't get away with criticism if they had the amount of * games he has. He is also never a captain.

He would stroll through playing at a higher level with the correct coach.

Said it a few times, he should go for the sake of his career.

 

I'm no sure I'd have him as captain though..

 

Calmac is a superb player, prob our best midfielder. No surprises he had a poor game last night with Brown in the team. But as said he has regressed as much as the team have with some of his performances of late. Lennon has put hold to his development and played him in a deeper role. He has also been over played, if there is any player in the team that needs a break it is Calmac. With the " resurgence " of Brown, Lennon will not drop him, I would take the opportunity to rest Calmac and play Soro with Brown.

 

Under Rodgers he was excellent, but for me has went back into the player for the majority of the season, that you remember when you think is he still on the park?

 

Cant be * with all this he was good under BR and RD, its all about the here and now-and he really needs to get a grip and lift his game. He has it in his locker but he has been rank this season.

 

I’m pretty sure he’ll be off in summer tbh. I hope he isn’t, but he’ll have options, and with a massive rebuild job that may take a couple of years likely, I can’t see him hanging around.
