Even after a historic win people still can't give the boy any praise without trying to have a dig at him.

If he put in a performance similar to Rogic's last night this thread would've jumped 10 pages with * saying his new contact was a mistake.

    All about the collective
Just the ones where he has the goal at his mercy. Any goal he usually gets in Europe is a belter from a bit of distance.
Don't understand it because hes so composed in front of goal domestically like that goal against st.johnstone

    Extremely harsh.

You're basing that on the Gladbach chance (a good chance but at an angle, not exactly a sitter) and a chance last night where he didn't quite manage to get his feet right and find space for the shot.

He showed real quality and confidence in his half hour appearance. I think him and Roberts have a really good understanding when they play together.

I'd start him in every European game he makes space for himself so well and is always available for a pass. Rogic is maybe more of a danger but can get snuffed out easy against European opposition.

It is good to have both as choices tho..

His pace with the ball at his feet is vastly under rated, he glides past people. Unsurprising as he was a tricky winger up to a point in the Celtic youth system.

I like him a lot, think he could do much more for us in Europe given the chance.

Brown & Armstrong ruled out for Scotland double header, if Callum doesn't get called up to the squad now Strachan needs to have a long look at himself.

Strachan as Celtic manager - Great. Not always the best man manager, but was highly respected, tactically sound and got players to play above themselves in Europe.

Strachan as Scotland manager - Stubborn, picks favourites.

He's always been stubborn and had his favourites tbh. Aiden McGeady could play outstanding for a run of games then have a poor game and be immediately dropped meanwhile Caldwell could be all over the shop, scoring OGs and the very first name on his teamsheet the following game.

Yeah, remembered that as soon as I poated it.

Never gave Riordan a fair chance either.

Hope he doesn't. Don't want any further injuries to our midfielders.
