Should have scored 4 or 5 in the 2nd half.hope it's just beginning of season rustiness and not the same problem as seasons gone by

delighted to hear we won our first game in what could have been a potential bannana skin! forrest certainly looks like he can step up this season and how about paddy? does he ever score a tap in? :icon_mrgreen:

all in all 3 points and a clean sheet away from home, perfect! :50:

Nah, you're not being cheeky. I just disagree with a lot of the posts here. There was post after post in the first half slating the Celtic team yet they all dramatically changed in the second half. For me, I'd rather a solid defence with a steady attack rather than making tonnes of chances against ICT 50 minutes into the match.

I'm still optimistic for the rest of the season though, I'm by no means a pessimist despite how it may sound!

played well second half as usual to be honest as i think we are no doubt a second half team and have been for some time

good finish by mccourt, maloney looked good, sammy frustrated again by doing the hard stuff then messing up the easy stuff,MAF drifted in and out, mulgrew started poor like most but came into it after 20+,loovens and hooiveld looked better, brown :87: confuses me really could take him or leave him, ledley look uninterested imo,cha looks good but if a big CF stands next do him at the back post we will struggle, zaluska done what was asked

I agree, I'm excited about Hooper. I still can't get my head around signing Mulgrew and he hasn't done anything to convince me otherwise. Not sure about Ledley, haven't seen enough to be convinced since the majority of his match time has been taken up by having to help out Mulgrew and Cha looks unbelievable going forward. A bit of a heavy touch today but still looks deadly. My only concern is his defensive capabilities.

You're right though 3 points is 3 points and I'm still optimistic for the rest of the season.

couple of people saying cha is a liability at the back already lol, he defended fine in pre season and he wasnt bad against braga, he made 1 misjudement today and is being slated by a couple, despite all the good he done, that james forrest decent player but hes a liability going forward cause he missed the chance :56:

give cha a bit of a chance to prove his defensive capabilities first eh?

    Good performance.

Caley Stadium is a potential banana skin for us, but we kept a clean sheet, and were all over them in the 2nd half.

Standouts were our attacking midfielders. Maloney 1st class apart from one missed chance 1st half. Fortune also excellent 2nd half. Forrest had a couple of superb strikes from distance after he came on - power and accuracy into the top corner, unlucky not to score - he looks a player. And of course Paddy, with his customary wondergoal.

On the downside, Mulgrew and Brown both looked their usual, and for all our late pressure we didn't find a 2nd goal. But that's 3 points in the bag in our opening game, and a promising performance 2nd half.

    Now... MON THE KILLIE! :50:

I thought Cha was a liability at the back since he first pulled on a Celtic jersey but there's every chance he could come good at the back in the coming weeks. His pace, touch and eye for a cross more than makes up for it though.

I can't help thinking that you're both right in what you say. I was just about having heart attacks in that first half and if I could have got hold of sammy I would have clocked him one :56:. The poster didn't get a lot wrong with regard to some individual performances but you're right enough we can take a lot of positives from the overall game. How many times have we seen it go wrong for us...........it's good to smile again but I think a few of us still have a little residual anxiety

Was pleased overall with what I seen today. Clean Sheet, some really good football and a cracking goal from Paddy. Just need to start games better and not take 30 mins to get into them and I think we could be on to a good thing.

I definately felt Inverness put too much into the first half hour that they just couldn't sustain it which allowed us the foothold and we just dominated after that... Must admit when it got to the 75 minute mark and another couple of chances had passed us by , I was thinking I'd seen this movie before and was waiting for the sucker punch...

You need screen capture software and you position it on the area of your screen that you want to record... I use camtasia studio 4..

I stated the one question asked of him he failed to answer.. It's true just as it was against Braga where he was at fault for that goal.. Today his fuckup didn't lead to a goal but it shouldn't be overlooked that he did fuckup and but for composure we probably would have conceded a goal because of him..
