Im actually not sure what to make of Rodgers for this..

But, the timing might work.. as he was going in the summer anyway..

It will end up with MON as DoF and Maloney full time ..

Thanks Brendan. The best Celtic manager in my lifetime.

Time was right to go and appreciate that, unlike some, you knew when the time was right

 

Should've been sacked in the summer after failing to qualify for CL.

 

It feels like an apprenticeship for Maloney and he could get it full time. If we win the league, that’s exactly what will happen with MON possibly staying as a Director of Football or advisor.

 

Martin O'Neill is bizarre but, * they doing phoning him.

1st spell he left mid-season as soon as he recieved a suitable offer from England. 2nd spell he left mid-season as soon as he faced his first real challenge as a Celtic manager. A success overall certainly, especially first time around, and got little help from the board this past year or so, but not the Messiah some would have us believe.

Fair play to Brendan, done what Lennon should have during the Covid season, Brendan will always have my respect for this decision, gave the team a chance to get back on track with enough time remaining in the season

MON and Maloney, part of my childhood side, hopefully inject some freshness and energy back onto the pitch, clean slate for everyone now, including those who became ostracized under Brendan, wonder if Martin will play his tried and trusted 3-5-2 formation

 

Brendan Rodgers has resigned from his position as the manager of Celtic.

In a dramatic 24 hours in the wake of losing 3-1 to Hearts and falling eight points behind the Tynecastle outfit in the Premiership title race, Rodgers and Celtic have parted company - with the the 52-year-old resigning from his post.


With the relationship between Rodgers and the board already tense following an underwhelming summer recruitment policy, the Northern Irishman and the club have gone their separate ways now before the expiry of his three-year contract next summer.

 

As interim is fine but full time no thanks we need a european style coach imo. HH
