I keep seeing this argument and I don't understand it because Rodgers recruitment over the course of his full managerial career is pretty poor his first spell here was essentially Ronny's team plus Scott Sinclair. Engles, Trusty and Idah also played major roles in a very successful season last year. We then sold Idah for a great fee and considering his form at the time plus what he contributed he was probably not the worst signing ever in terms of contribution.

I just feel it's a can't see the wood for the trees argument tbh

 

Time to go. His sides always deteriorate. We've had a good 7 months of football out of the 30 he's been back.

Needs someone to energise what's left of out quality and to potentially rehab guys like Engels and Bernardo.

Give a new manager time with this squad before next years qualifiers.

He did try and change it at least second half. Didn't really do much though but interesting to see what we do Sunday. McGregor, CCV and Maeda all need benched.

 

I dont think he needs to go now but the problem we face is that when Maeda goes in January unless we are well ahead in the league surely even the Celtic board will recognise that we need to spend properly. And if Rodgers is going at the end of the season, the smart business move would be to bring someone in December to allow them to get the January window.

Otherwise we either find an excuse not to spend in January and risk blowing the league. Feels very unlikely they open the chequebook for Rodgers in January if they know he is leaving in May

 

The only players not getting slaughtered are the guys that have only been in the door a few weeks.

Bernardo can play the holding role he's done it well when I've seen him play there

 

His tactics and football are * now and his stubborn inflexible approach is becoming annoying.

 

Trust me we will 100% not be well ahead in the league we could be well behind come January we are horrendous

Ange's enthusiasm for that attitude would generate better football and make players better, and we'd win and be better and exciting to watch again, bring him home

 

Worth trying domestically where we dominate possession. An extra forward would be ideal.

 

Start looking for a new manager, before January or in May. Rodgers will go at end of season or be sacked in new year. Please board be proactive
