3 wins in the last 9 against Partick, Livingston and a last minute penalty against kilmarnock.
5 of those games we've failed to score in.

If he can't fix this before the international break then it might be time to part ways.

Unlike the covid season where I was adamant that despite how much we lost the league by, all we required was a manager who installed basic * professional standards both on and off the pitch and we would easily win the league title back.

I do not have the same confidence now - I'd prefer this * tedious "will they, won't they," bullshit to end abruptly tonight and Rodgers is gone - which would then spur and even larger % of the fanbase to really attack the board and change things up.

But we could get in the very best manager imaginable, not just for Celtic standards, but any club in the game, but other than maybe changing the shape of the midfield. I do not see how they can improve the performance levels of the squad right now. Unless they go 442 and stick Murray uptop as a route one option to knock balls for Iheanacho

Well it does matter about Rangers. They are our main rivals for the title and have been for years and years. When you're ahead of them, a lot is allowed to go under the bridge in terms of frailties.

Lennon was backed that summer. Backed with total * *. But forgetting that it comes down to motivation and man-management.

We know these players can produce much better individual performances on a regular basis. That we're seeing consistently * ones from so many talented players unfortunately comes down to the manager. Lennon couldn't get the best out of a talented squad (in Scottish football terms). The same goes for Rodgers. And yes, it's still a talented squad even if positions need bulked up.

We've bought a £5m winger in Balikwisha who the manager signed off on that looks like he's never seen a baw for example. Yet we're still bringing on James Forrest when needing a goal.

Who you kidding. Ange had a squad ravaged with injuries and had them creating more chances per game than Rodgers * show has created all season.

We need fresh ideas. Whether Rodgers can provide that I have my doubts. I think hes capable of changing things but I suspect he knows this is his last season so hes not going change at this point. We needed to change things up in the Summer with our approach but I think we have been too fixated on the transfer business or lack of it to address some of the issues in the system we play.

Even had we replaced our forward line in the Summer I think we would have been found out by the weakness of our CBs back on the ball and the diminishing effectiveness of McGregor having to sit deep trying to help them move the ball forward. Thats been exposed now.

The lack of balance and impact from the midfield would also still have been an issue in this system.

The window was a faiilure but this system is also now a failure and it needs ripped up. Probably by a new manager with new ideas.

Aye actually I think he's gonna totally go to bits and have us about 25 points behind and failing so badly he ends up somewhere like Dunfermline in the end.

One goal in 400 minutes of European football for Brendan Rodgers' Celtic this season.
    We are powder puff.

    1 win in 10? * me that's bad.

I thought Rodgers was "good" in Europe this time around, or something.

...And the 1 win was a very scratchy 1-0 v Young Boys, back in January. It should be noted at the time of that game, YB were sitting 9th in the Swiss league and were on their 3rd manager of the season by that point.

    Standards have dropped.

There are players like Schmeichel, CCV, Tierney, McGregor and Maeda who at the minute are simply being chose on the basis of what they done in the past.

None of them are playing anywhere near good enough to be earning their starts right now.

Time for a change me thinks, his arrogance and refusal to see past his players will be his downfall.

His recruitment is nothing short of shambolic.
    Engels , Bernardo , Idah , Trusty - 31m .
    Let that sink in .

He’s been * over big time but it’s now time for him to earn his money, similarly to when the Huns had a shout late in the season under clement and he turned the afterburners on calling on every inch of his experience.

That’s the Rodgers we need now, park the arguments and the clashes and the focus on the lack of cohesion between the fans and the board - set up teams to score goals and win games and we can revisit the * in January.

He can’t keep relying on the ‘during my first time here’ that’s in the past. It’s here and now we are looking at and it is not good enough
