He doesnt really have the luxury now of sulking and raging which will be the temptation.

Needs to focussing on circling the wagons on the squad he does have. Trying to prevent motivation evaporating and keeping the squad engaged.

From what he can control i think he needs to be prepared to be more flexible and look at going more direct if plan a is struggling to get us up the pitch.

Things like set pieced which have been neglected for too long should be given proper priority now. We need everything we can get.

Target keeping our lead at the top intact until we can get to jan and maybe we might actually get some reinforcements then.

 

We all need a target for this * show. He’s not without fault but for me he’s not the root of our problems.

Still, if he walked with a parting shot at the board I’d respect that.

I hope he makes one more very strong statement on the issue then tells the press that he wont keep speaking about it. It is what it is and it cant be fixed until January.

Ultimately the league is going to be a challenge this year and even getting a playoff spot in the Europa league will be tough. I hope we get a bit of focus and a bit of positive momentum. Neither of which we can have if our manager keeps talking about how bad the club is run after every game.

And I really hope he stays until the end of the season. Rodgers leaving now fixes nothing and risks blowing the league even more than we are already doing.

 

I reckon he kids on he’s raging but actually does not give a single *.

It’s all fake drama. * will just be counting down the weeks until he’s back on a beach in Spain.

Pretty much this, although I do have a little bit of sympathy for Rodgers trying to rely on Yang and Forrest as wingers.

I think the largest portion of blame lies with the board for where we’re at. But now he has to prove his worth.

Showing any kind of tactical flexibility and changing the formation when things aren’t working would be a start.

I don't see him spinning it as a positive he's been made to look stupid with his comments about Idah being replaced before going anywhere.

He either needs to resign and go nuclear or not sugar coat the abject failure the window was and he has none of the blame imo. I think he's been told to reign his comments in by the board hence the pish about them bleeding green and white

 

It was the problem vs Almaty. They were a poor outfit and we had enough to get by them.

It doesn’t excuse the transfer window and I think he’s down the list of people to blame for where we’re at. I also sympathise with him, but that doesn’t mean he should be absolved of all blame either. There are numerous things he’s handled poorly this summer.
