Big overhaul needed IMO. Unfortunately, if I name the main players I most want to keep (CCV, Maeda and Hatate), they're the most likely to leave!

 

We shouldn't need to purely trust him, if our board were actually competent and had a proper scouting set up in place.

Our way of recruitment is archaic.

 

Got it right at times in Europe, but got it so wrong domestically. Let Rangers make us a laughing stock.

 

Given what preceded that statement, I’m almost certain he was being sarcastic.

 

Not even a kneejerk reaction to what we've seen today as I've said before with regards to Rodgers recruitment throughout his full career.

Would anyone actually fully trust Rodgers to build/rebuild a squad I like Engels but can we honestly say he represents value for money the same goes for Idah and Trusty. In his first spell the bulk of the best players were from the previous managers squad plus Scott Sinclair who Rodgers already knew from Swansea

 

He'll * it again when Gerrard becomes the new manager .

 

Would not trust Rodgers with a rebuild, He will still keep losers like Scales, Bernardo, Yang,Idah and build a team around them,make us average and then the first offer from England comes in will * off into the sunset.

 

Canny wait until we get * out the UCL qualifiers in August if he is in charge hopefully then everyone will wake upto him. A can't stand the cvnt

 

Our board are continually holding us back. Everything uv said is spot on but also there decision to sell our 1st choice striker in January without replacing him has came home to roost.

As a result we started a cup final with a donkey up front and ended up replacing him with a headless chicken with * all experience.

Tell me any other club I'm out position that would have ended up with Jonny Kenny playing up front in a major cup final

 

I've said this for years but just get called a hater or that I can't forgive him for leaving last time or something. It's not that at all. His football is just sooo turgid for me.

I'll admit that the football up until Leipzig was excellent. But looking at his second spell as a whole, we've played about 4 months of top quality football. The rest has been utterly * or inconsistent/mediocre.

Bringing on a guy who's played majority of his career in midfield in the EPL, at left back to then play a Kilmarnock level left back in midfield is * stupidity on another level

 

I think a lot of clubs have had success promoting the B team manager to take over the 1st team

I don't want him to leave in the summer, and I think people wanting him to go are being a bit OTT.

In saying that, I would hold off on offering a new contract, 4 trophies in 2 years is still a good return from him, but with the complacency we've shown since Christmas I wouldn't be rushing to offer him a new deal. We've seen how slack things can get in the third season, but it seems to have started half a season early for us.

I agree, he’s been unable to beat an abysmal Hun team since the start of the season. He’s now losing cup finals against very poor teams.

He doesn’t have anything when even * teams force him wide, just relies on having much better quality in his side.

The bottom line is the product he delivers the vast majority of the time is * * to watch. It’s why Ange is so fondly remembered, because he * refused to watch his team keep playing the ball back against dogshit teams that are allowing us possession anyway.
