Brendan Fraudgers!

Let's be honest things are *, chronic to watch and have been for some time also Brendan keeps putting his foot in it in every interview right now but the guy has earned the time to turn this around. Let's look at things after 15 games.

 

It's one thing admitting that we're not at the level we have been previously. To say anything to the contrary would be a poor attempt to pull the wool over peoples eyes.

It's another thing entirely when you are admitting to being frustrated/worried by performances, and agreeing that Celtic fans should be 'alarmed' by the way things are going. Normally in this situation a manager would look to calm things down and try and keep a lid on things.

He's allowing talk of worry and alarm to creep in, and that could become 'panic' or 'crisis'. He even mentioned there being pressure on the club now, the reporter didn't bring it up - Rodgers did. That suggests to me he's trying to force the board to act in January.

But, to be honest, we don't generally recruit too well in January. His first window aside, we've barely strengthened the side and we're a much weaker squad than the one that ended his first season in charge. We've allowed this to happen through poor planning/recruitment, and once again failed to capitalise on a position of strength.

 

What did Sinclair & Christie do to merit a place in the starting line up? Yet another baffling team selection.

 

Its a great achievement. Nobody else has done it, but is that his lagacy, a double treble against poor opposition? That's why it flatters to deceive in my opinion because he is showing he isn't as good a manager as his reputation suggests. Again in my opinion.

He doesn't seem able to or willing to adapt. Same tactics. Same boring football. He always harps on about aggression, quality, attacking play. Where is it? Its not even visible in him atm, never mind the players. I wouldn't be sad to see him go and replaced with the likes of Lennon.

 

Should have had full strength team out,sinclair should have been off after 10 mins u could see he wasnt up for it,Poor team selection

 

I agree with you on Sinclair, manager has a blind spot for him but Christie was always positive and doing the dirty stuff as well. As much as I love Rogic, he has been rotten as well and I don't think we would have got anymore out of him if he played.

 

Starting with one up front again and an understrength team, invited that pish today, starting to get sick of the guy to be honest.

 

We are playing badly but rodgers will turn this arround but some people talk total *.on here

 

Sinclair has got very comfortable up here, very very comfortable.

 

Man has earned some patience and respect..

 

I agree 100%, but i think it's fair people are venting right now after what has been a torrid 2 months.

 

Our performances in the league, have been * since the beginning of last season. That's undeniable..

 

Haha this place is even more ment nowadays.. Rodgers isn't getting the sack and the world isn't about to implode. Just give it time tims.

 

He's done great up until this season but he let himself get bullied by the board and we never strengthened the way we should have in the summer, a guy like O'Neill would never have been bullied like that.

 

Sinclair is his Johansen. It takes something really serious for him to bench him.

Two months?

The team is playing * since January. Good games are an exception and not the rule.

 

He rocked the boat with voicing his frustrations at the board for the way things were going in the summer transfer dealings but in his attempt to do that he also undermined the players here and the effects of what was said over that period is bearing out on the pitch now. He needs to be more tactful in his media dealings and keep disharmony behind the scenes.

 

Rumours that he's going to walk, most likely bullshit but could explain why the team is playing *. Would really hope he wouldn't walk away at first sign of trouble, needs to show his character and get the players believing again. Just as well every other team is dropping points in the league.

 

He benched Sinclair a lot in the second half of last season. He was also benched in our previous game.

 

I'l give him time but I'm questioning him. Hasn't just been the past 2 months, this has been since majority of last season with the slow, pedestrian side to side and backwards passing that is boring as * to watch. Let the leash off and attack teams, only way we will score goals and go on a decent run of winning games.
