We don't need wholesale changes to the squad in the summer, As we have a settled squad who are bonded and used to winning maybe 3/4 out and the same in natural turnover of players freshen up the team.

maybe a RB in the 3.4mill mould a CB , possibly McGinn and another wide player/striker hopefully get eduoard and roberts again(loan).

 

In a sober mind it's very interesting. Brendan was criticised for his defence with Liverpool. Yet that team was the most watched on TV that season because it was refreshing to see all out attack destroying teams, they might score 2 but Liverpool scored 5. He was a Gerrard slip away from winning that league in style, the kinda style Guardiola has introduced, Brendan did it with less funds and responsibility of signings/

Broke the record in 2 different league with goals scored,what does that tell you ? Brendan is an Attacker and we are in our history an attacking team perfect fit.

Treble treble because i think next year we are gonna leaps and bounds better he said it himself we have basically played back to back seasons with a 2 week break in between a full pre season and holidays for a few of them i think will do wonders and a couple of signings

Without turning our attention away from title celebrations and a great feeling today, but I hope he sticks by this quote as much as possible.
This season has been poor in performances, but this quote right here is what Deila tried to implement, and is what Rodgers successfully done to great effect last season. Too often this hasn't been the case. More intensity and aggression would be great please. Okay having all the possession in the world, but without the intensity in our attacks, it tends to come to * all.

 

* to the yes brendan. Just me or could you hear in his voice the real love and happiness. Almost feel true emotion in the words there.
The guy aint going anywhere and if that isn't a "* off Arsenal" I don't know what is. Distanced himself from the job and commited to Celtic.

If he could get a GK, RB and maybe see what happens with Compper and whether another CB is needed then this squad doesn't need great work done to it.

Obviously a replacement for Dembele and Eddie if they aren't here next season is going to be required.

As for Roberts, if there is an way to sign then go for it, with any luck we should be able to tweek the team and spend no more than £15mill in doing so by replacing Gordon, Lustig and Dembele

 

The major downside with Brendan is that he all but kills of the usual armchair manager chat that this sort of forum is built on. He’s so far ahead of everyone that you just have to bow to his level of knowledge and expertise, and accept that he’s right.

The plus side is that disagreeing with him helps identify all the mentalists.
