Well if you call an Honours degree and a PG Dip as a lack of education, then you maybe right

Well you must know how hard it's is to win a treble, you need a lot of things to go your way.. hence we've only ever done it 4 times in our history..

And nobody has done back to back trebles ever.. we have the first leg of that on Sunday, so let's get behind BR and the team eh..

I think we can match English opposition which we have done in the past. January will be an interesting transfer window. we need to bolster the defense which we all agree with. CG has to learn when to play the ball from the back and when to punt the ball all the way up the park.
We have to get a younger keeper in who can play the modern game.

    Absolute bollocks

This is the kind of logic that justifies van dijk not getting capped by Holland until he joined Southampton

Not sure.. I imagine Madrid must have done European Cup, League and Kings Cup back in the day.. maybe Bayern too.. as we obviously have too, but unsure if teams have done that consecutively..

A lot of countries only have one Cup competition so a purely domestic back to back treble must be a rarity..

Aye.. I'm no sure what your point is mate. Or are you just stating a fact?

We have poor record in the LC in comparison to the amount of Semis we've reached. Good momentum builder to get the first peice of silverware of the season tho..

don't know why you quoted me and then said nothing do you agree with me or not mate

van * taking the * out of scottish players doesn't make him a dutch international, being a central defender and playing in the richest league with a lot of the best players in the world attacking him and testing him defensively proves to the dutch that he is worthy of a international cap or 2 or 3

i'll give you, he looked absolute quality in everything he done whilst with celtic but the managers of big international sides see very easily the weaknesses in the scottish game, the fact for e.g. he was constantly striding forward trying to setup attacks because he had * all to do defensively :87:

our players aren't tested enough in scotland and that hurts us when we play teams that are from more competitive leagues and richer leagues with better players, i don't know how that is absolute bollocks it is quite obvious

He needs to change his tactics for Europe against the big teams it’s just moronic if he doesn’t.

We’ve lost to 3 teams in 2017 and the thread is at its most excitable after one of the few defeats :56:

It is nothing if not predictable.

It now seems like your talking about maintaining standards and regularly playing quality opposition in order to keep them up.

For me, thats a seperate issue. Managers have gotten better results and performances out of us in the past against top quality.

I love Rodgers fantasism and vision but he needs to be realistic also. And at Liverpool defence was an issue also.
Its almost Strachan-esque to live and die by his stubbornness.

If nothing is changes and we continue to try and play total football away to the PSGs and Barcas of the world using Craig Gordon and Dedryck Boyata , etc.. then rest assured that this will be a reccurring conversation as it was away in Beer Sheva, as it was away in Astana, away to Barca, Bayern, PSG...

Its just part of the treble. i the old days the team that one it got into the Fairs cup which was a European competition , the Scottish cup winners also got into Europe, in some circumstances the runner up in the Scottish cup got into Europe.

If who ever won the league got into Europe and if they won the Scottish cup as well the beaten finalist could go into Europe, no matter who the loser was ,,,,, even it was Formartine
