Playing Rogic up front was a mistake. I would have preferred Sinclair in that role.

 

Problem is we were poor previously when Scotty was up top. We need a striker for the second leg or need to experiment with something else. If Griff is not back for the second leg its a massive worry.

 

Honestly, I think his transfer fee is beyond our budget, given that unknowns from Brighton are being bought by Everton for £25m.

Added to that, I think Paddy wants to play in the EPL.

 

Honestly think hayes upfront was the way to go last night. Rogic isn't quick enough to do it and proved ineffective in that role. And as you say, Sinclair hasn't enjoyed the best times in that role previously either.

Still full of optimism for next week. Griff back, team will be a week's worth of training fitter and they need to score. We can exploit holes left at the back

So Brendan knows Dembele is out to September at least! Griffiths is struggling, we have at least a EL/CL playoff coming and 4 league matches but yet he is saying we dont need to sign a striker, so either Atchison or Ciftci have got to come in, as for his comment about not wanting to upset Dembele or Griffiths tell the pair eh * to stay fit then, no coincidence PR and KT say moussa is worst trainer on that Invincibles program...

Naw anno mate, dont mean it to sound like Legia, am just annoyed brendan saying he doesnt want to upset the 2 strikers, but something is wrong they are always picking up hamstring and calf injuries respectively, dont worry we score their first we are going through!

 

If we do sign one I dont think he will be eligible to play. Should have been done at the start of the season.

 

Hopefully Rendog, too late for this round but surely Congerton and Brendan know someone down south you could even get on loan to the winter window - they would be first choice, 2nd choice at worst for the next 6 weeks and they could make an impression.
