Will we ever see Rodgers back at Celtic?

He will hop around the EPL for a while, I’m sure he will get the sack once or twice, relegated or moved to the Championship, maybe even move abroad for a while but will he ever return to Celtic Park?

Forgetting what happened on Tuesday and how he departed, the history books will have him up there with the best, the invincible season and 7/7 trophies is a major achievement. We will all calm down and this will be forgotten (not forgiven) in a year or 2.

Question is, do you think he will ever be back? “Boyhood club” etc.

But he basically said some old woman called patsy used to be outside the Celtic hotel before every game with her Brendan hat and scarf on and her son was basically meant to have said to Brendan something along the lines of “ thanks Brendan you’re success has given my mother a whole new lease of life “

Then he went onto to say “ hearing things like that gives me just as much joy as winning any trophy “

 

That would be my question. His emphasis in the interview was that his family were all Celtic supporters.......like he wasn't really. He never said anything about him being a fan it was all about how disappointed his family was because they were Celtic supporters. I doubt Brendan ever gave Celtic a thought until he came to manage us.
