    Hello and good afternoon everyone! The semi finals have now concluded, all votes are in and we have our winners who will advance to the final.

    Thanks very much for the prompt votes and continued participation, its very much appreciated. So without any more rabbling....

    REM 35-30 Bruce Springsteen

    Congratulations to REM on a very hard fought victory. Personally, I was toe tapping and bopping along to the Live Bruce Springsteen selection and thought that might have the tie in the bag, but he isn't to everyone's taste and a great selection proves REM's longevity as they advance. Commiserations to @Taz but excellent work to reach this far :57:

    Prince 22-38 AC/DC

    A little more of a convincing win in this semi as AC/DC take the spoils. The rockers leading the way from start to finish with the votes as they came in. One competitor swayed from the required voting format but by that stage in mattered not a jot so I have let it slide :74: So, it's hard lines to @V For Vendetta, with Prince, who I'm sure will not mind me sharing this from our PMs :56: :

    Commiserations also to @V For Vendetta but having read that comment explains some of the unexpected choices made along the way, :56:

    NB - Sorry for any confusion with my vote as it was made belatedly, in my partly functional, bourbon-addled brain this morning, not having previously noted that the F4 had been required to vote this round, so that is my bad.
